In the past I have done a craft where you have duplicates of the same image. You use the full image as the background and then isolate parts of the image to move to the foreground by cutting out elements and stacking them. Hard to explain, but the collage version of this technique is so much more interesting. Good job Rosie. I love your work, and seeing your artistic process. I’m so glad that I found your channel.
I love this 3D collage. I just found your channel and love it. I also love the whimsical silly collage pages. They make me happy. Love forward to more.
I really enjoyed watching this process...I can totally relate to the difficulty in making descisions in regards to choosing images. You have definitely inspired me to try this out! Awesome video✂️🦋
Fabulous dimensional collage. It's so useful to see you work your way through the build of it. Knowing you wavered and changed your mind about things (and still ended up with an awesome piece) is truly reassuring. Thanks for posting ♥️
Love watching your process and the finished piece is great! It reminds me of paper tole - used to be popular a couple decades ago. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to more now that you've set up after moving! 🤗
i'm going to go with the sunset. it makes me feel a lot more synced with the delicate nature of sleep and pretty things so small they could creep up in a piece of art.
This is SO great! Im watching you from south america (América Latina, from Argentina) and I really love collages (analogic and Digital ones) I agree with you this is like another level amazing! So nice watching you throught the process. Thanks for sharing! Gonna try it someday
I am contemplating whether I could fall in love and watch the butterflies land on flowers. but that other pic with all that stuff was so pretty - still not right
First I'm a very old lady and have made hundreds of collages but my favorite one is still a 3-D collage that folded out and made a room complete with windows in the front. I made this in a book binding class and needless to say the old fashioned teacher wasn't impressed at all so always keep up your self love and motivation regardless of what anyone says! If you don't make this work who will?
I’ve only just found you so inspired been out op shopping for books and saved earlier tutorials am hooked What do with yr pages when completed. Yr amazing so talented and explain so clearly😊
5:53 I have used that SAME EXACT picture for my own art work (the names of the cities around the outside gave it away)! Ha ha So funny to see it in a video. I'm new to your channel (just found it yesterday) but I'm already obsessed and this just confirms I'm in the right place. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing what you so creatively do!
Cool, but back in the 70’s they had this glue you could use to make stuff, like cards 3-D. It was clear, held good. But do not know what it was called. I was really young , it’s been awhile. It did turn out great💗😀👍
leaves are great because classical french art uses foliage to connect up all the time and dimensions into kind of exactly like that firs finished product
mountains are so tricky. I like how you were able to throw some wicked curves in there witht the butterflies. There are so many natural circle shapes in nature - flowers, the sun, fruit, smiles, and time itself
I see where your inspiration lies, wanting to use basic shape keep the idea on a simple basis. However, circles deteriorate into complex interplay with other possible frames for the whole geometry.
I love your videos! You inspire me so much and I make at least one collage a day now. What is that book called that has the cameras in it? I'm trying to find cool collagen books online.
With the bed there, it's so mjuch better to use flowers because flowers are natural circles, and the bed is rectangular. If you were putting something is actively awake and moving, I would go butterfly.
There's really two ways to mock up a basis for the shapes; very big categorical questions -- squares inside the circle to get geometry straight; circles inside of squares to put life into tech into art
Wizard of OZ. you get to be the scarecrow, the cowardly lion finds courage in the stroll to the market at night. and i'm the tin man b/c i'm here and i nerver cease to undisapper
I think the first collage with all the action is better. The potential to tie this last picture together with that first picture. Want to forget the criticsm, ans just say I like the dinosaurs picture.
I use tiny sewing scissors 99% of the time because they have great control and word well for detail and then an xacto knife for the places where you can't use scissors. The knife does take some practice to get comfortable with!
I like the collage, but I would have tilted the bed a bit more so it really gives the impression she she is dreaming. And maybe more tiny butterflies that flutter every which way coming out of her head … Now it just looks like she is peacefully sleeping….
Was looking at the tech pics you set up, I get the idea of a cricle being a natural shape; so when the idea is speak naturally, is the idea to build structures out of shapes, or to make collage into a shape?
Matching all the natrual shapes, lines, circles, boxes; makes me think that the whole collage should be a circle... but what if circle could be the basis for the whole pictures
I was just trying to say that the basis of a picture that gets cropped into a cricle, that the basis for the inside of the full collage should have a conscious choice between a basis of componenent elements either by cricles, parabolas or rectangles.

Another interesting exercise in dimension is to use multiple copies of the same image, popping up different parts to different heights. Very cool.
I love this 3D collage. I just found your channel and love it. I also love the whimsical silly collage pages. They make me happy. Love forward to more.
Aw thank you! That makes me happy to hear :) They certainly make me happy to!
In the 70’s this style (3D) was very popular. My grandmother, an artist, used this technique to set up her creations. Great video, thank you 🎉❤
I loved this collage Rosie!!!!
This one is my all time favorite!
So worth every minute it took you.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Aww thank you! I totally agree--I am so happy with how it turned out :)
I really enjoyed watching this process...I can totally relate to the difficulty in making descisions in regards to choosing images. You have definitely inspired me to try this out! Awesome video✂️🦋
Oh thank you so much! I struggle is real with so many options. I love them all!
3D really makes sense when constructing a whole idea based on different focii
I like the circular shape and the idea of the dreamscape. Really enjoy this collage.
Amo a esta mujer, me encanta cuando se sorprende de su propio trabajo final ❤
La verdad que todo lo que crea es asombroso
What you did with the flowers and setting with those big pics looks very peaceful
What fun! Beauty. A side view shot to see the various heights would be awesome.
This is great, I am hooked!! Can't wait to try it myself!!!!
I enjoyed it very much and I love your enthusiasm for your art.
It's a beautiful collage.

This looked great! I use those squares in card making and never even thought about collaging with them! Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh right! This would be so cool for a card! Okay, everyone I know is getting a 3D birthday card LOL
Looks great ... I love to do collages Junk journals and different mixed mediums with my jewelry art / dried flowers..
This is wild! You said butterfly fishing. I'm going to the bar!
Love watching your process and the finished piece is great! It reminds me of paper tole - used to be popular a couple decades ago. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to more now that you've set up after moving! 🤗
Fantastic. I'm gonna try! 😊
Very cool👏👏👏👏👏💜💜💜💜💜💜😀😄love the 3D look.
Me encanto tu videos!.. Estuve buscando ideas para collage en 3D y tu forma de hacerlos me pareció súper estético y sensillo!
Saludos desde Argentina
New sub and am slowly going through all your videos. Love this one, love the dimension!
i'm going to go with the sunset. it makes me feel a lot more synced with the delicate nature of sleep and pretty things so small they could creep up in a piece of art.
Love it.
THANK YOU FOR THE IDEA ! < 333
If those are all National Geographics on your bookshelf in the background I am so jealous girl😮❤!!!!!

Do it! It was so so fun.
Love love love this!!!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed them :)
This reminds me of a Paper Tole course I did a thousand years ago. And I think to raise the image we used silicone out of a tube.
First I'm a very old lady and have made hundreds of collages but my favorite one is still a 3-D collage that folded out and made a room complete with windows in the front. oh cool, you used the butterflies i liked, the one on the left
your artwork is very symathetic.
My mom would love the dreamscape being tossed into the garden; and then the Dinosaur! Come on, that's perfect.
So cool
Thank you!
Yes, very cool, Thanks
Cool, but back in the 70’s they had this glue you could use to make stuff, like cards 3-D. It was clear, held good. But do not know what it was called. I was really young , it’s been awhile. It did turn out great💗😀👍
Oh that sounds like it would be a fun glue to play around with!
I'd love to know the title of the book of vintage ads!!!! I love, love, love retro TV sets!!!!
Thx a lot for this cool Video!
i love the curves of pillows
Loved this.’ Also where is the circle cutter from?
VERY COOL 😎
That is so nice, how you were able to get the plants outside the circle.

Very cool Rosie! Love it. 😁Amy
Oh thank you so much!!

Amanda lives 3 hours from me in Canada. This looks amazing.
Oh so cool! And thank you so much!
thats the heart of other species.
I love your videos! You inspire me so much and I make at least one collage a day now. What is that book called that has the cameras in it? I'm trying to find cool collagen books online.
Yeah! Mount me up on card stock!

god, that is a ton of options
a group, a circle is a group.
So pretty.I love the idea of 3 d but how do you store them?
This is a great point! I have this one out on display, but they would take up room really quickly if you kept them all in a drawer.
you are super cam-likable
I think the first collage with all the action is better. The potential to tie this last picture together with that first picture. Want to forget the criticsm, ans just say I like the dinosaurs picture.
music time. will cruise your videos, then get back to you
i'm shocked. you put a lot of medicine in these pics, doc. you are so much beautiful... shocked
i like the other bird garden better, can;t keep with birdcage circle, but birdcages do come in triangle schemes
Beautiful! What tool do you use to cut! I’ve been having trouble with it
I use tiny sewing scissors 99% of the time because they have great control and word well for detail and then an xacto knife for the places where you can't use scissors. The knife does take some practice to get comfortable with!
i sure picked the right day to stop sniffing glue
i like to plan, too, but were flying with a graph
doc told me doesnt matter if mental, cuz german citizenship
I like the collage, but I would have tilted the bed a bit more so it really gives the impression she she is dreaming. And maybe more tiny butterflies that flutter every which way coming out of her head … Now it just looks like she is peacefully sleeping….
Question, is it right to use circles to delineate pic or to fill the pic
Was looking at the tech pics you set up, I get the idea of a cricle being a natural shape; so when the idea is speak naturally, is the idea to build structures out of shapes, or to make collage into a shape?

we all eat, but birds write the boooks
Ginko leaf
how do you get scientific about a bird cage
man, you're map of texas/chicago has
💕💕❤️🤗
well, then ill just have to give up drinkin
i love you.
Those plants seem to clutter things up. Circles tend to do that1

😊🐇👋
🤩😇🤩😂😛
circles, and focus... but the frame has got to get laid out proper to hold the strength and balance
yeah, i just wrote that point down hardcopy
don't want too many things.
i'll do some writing -- I'll make a dinner menu hardcopy
no no, "the too many things going on"
hey, if you know i'm here, then who gets to save the princess
where are you?????
I love your idea, but the color of pink/purple background just doesn't work with the yellow/orange/red moths for me Sorry
No worries! I like the colors, but that's the great thing about art--we don't all have to love the same things :)
okay
i work through america, thus non-direct marketing, for house/ city bookish stuff
I think the girl in bed makes less sense than the dinosaur with the leaves and the butterfiles. Thus my argument about butterfiles
