Watching a lot of these concert videos, I’ve noticed a difference between Korea and Japan. Japan’s concerts seem a lot more “let’s have fun and feel the music” while Korea’s one is more “everything must be perfect, choreos, vocals and rapping” not saying that I don’t enjoy them, it’s just, wow
Edit: I also remember a Japanese idol saying “we want to interact with our fans and have fun, it doesn’t matter how bad we sound on that day, we’re entertainers”

Ive seen a little kpop tho am not too into it like jpop and jrock but i think all the best kpop concerts have happened in japan such as exordium in japan that was amazing.
Well to be fair it’s not that Concerts cannot be fun in Korea but it’s just that the competition there is too strong with other fellow artists and even artists from the same label 🤦🏿♂️ . Lets exclude any other factors can focus purely based on RUclips views on their mv’s, 1 view = 1 fan... look at their mv’s with views easily amounting to 10million to 100 million... and that’s just one song from one group from one album with just 7 songs... now imagine groups like BTS and EXO having concerts... just imagine how fast tickets sell out. I think only kenshi yonezu and one ok rock can compete in terms of fans and the amount of views on RUclips...

I know that it's a joke but then if u have 4 mins and 12 sec left to live,u need at least 10 sec to unlock ur phone(only works if u use ur fingerprint to unlock cuz it only takes like 2 sec) and open youtube and it will take about probably 5 SEC for youtube to finish loading and u have to search for crossing field. I love kpop and jpop and I realized theres was a huge difference in the performers and the audience. In japan, the performer actually doesnt care about looking pretty on camera and likes to hype the crowd up to make sure theyre having fun. In korea most of the time they want to look pretty on camera. I love both tho! I just think in japan they're more geared towards making the crowd happy and enjoy themselves together to actually feel as if the performer is connected to them.

I was born there when my dad was in the Marines then he retired and we stayed for about 10 years came to America and I ended up over there when I went to the marines for a course I was teaching for a few. It’s basically home for me spent 80% of my life there
