Hello Rob, i have though about this question in many different ways, and here it is; how much does one, thickest and longest roof panel cost? If I base my budget for the complete shell of the house with this cost, then , I know more or less how much i’ll need when I build with you. Of course it will come in less when I use some of your thinner SIPs.
Thanks for the question. Shoot us an email or give us a call and we’ll get that info to you. We don’t put that info on YT comments because that info can age quickly, then give other readers bad info.
Thanks for the question. Electrical chases and boxes are installed by Eco-Panels during production of the SIPs, however, additional electrical can be installed on-site. We have videos on this as well. Penetrations for plumbing, like an exterior faucet can be made. Typically (and per most codes), plumbing is going to be within interior walls, cabinets on exterior walls, under the subfloor, in floor trusses, etc. Great question. Hope that helps!
@@EcoPanelsofTennessee Thanks for the response. I was binge watching some of the videos over the weekend. I saw the electrical chases. I like the R40 walls, but it looks like a ton of planning is needed when going with SIPS.
@@wjthehomebuilder - Good observation. I wouldn't say a ton, but there is more planning that goes into it compared to someone throwing up a stick framed house. It's a good idea to have plans drawn and have an electrician help map out where exterior wall boxes should be located. Outside of that, there's not that much that is different, and we help customers navigate this process all the time. If you're interested in a highly efficient and stronger home, it's definitely worth the planning effort. Thanks for watching and reaching out!

Are these panels typically used in conjunction with another ext wall for plumbing, electrical, etc? Or are people putting wires through these panels?
