I love following your journey. You are so relatable!
What helped me get started was using my girlfriend as an accountability partner. I would send her a picture of everything I consumed. Because I didn't want to lie to her, it kept me on the straight and narrow.
I am not strict carnivore as I include ketchup and mustard along with some diet drinks...So shoot me! I realize the benefits would be better if I eliminated these things. (At least I don't do dairy except for butter) My goal this time around is sustainability. The diet drinks will definitely go by the wayside soon. The condiments are a little harder as they make the meat palatable for me at the present time. I need to be consistent before I need to be perfect. My journey...my way. It's still part of a "Proper Human Diet"!

doctor wouldn't take me off of that same heart med, even though it was interfering with my ability to think clearly. I work as a technology architect, and not being able to think clearly was seriously interfering with my job. Ended up taking myself off of it and telling that doc to take a flying leap. It's my choice to come off, you can't refuse to help me; yet they did. That was a good 10 years before I even heard of carnivore although I had been thinking back then that I needed to return to what I ate when I grew up because I was stronger, thinner and healthier than the kids around me even in the 80's. Was 80%+ red meat back then.

I don't know why your video came up on my feed, but I'm so grateful it did! this is why I've been on and off Carnivore for 5 years and these last 7 months the cravings have been really bad and I've gained 10 lbs. I'm a sugar addict and I can't moderate my sugar. You are a real inspiration for me. I'm back on today with a commitment to strictly doing carnivore for 30days. I can do it! I have been doing carnivore like I kind of have a problem with sugar but as soon as I lose a few lbs I can go back to eating "normal" like everyone around me. I can't . I wouldn't ask an alcoholic to drink with me so I don't feel so bad! I can't eat carbs (sugar) because I'm addicted. I watched Kerry's video because of you as well. Very inspiring! Thank you.

Hey Wave…. I really enjoyed watching this video and your brutal honesty about starting and stopping carnivore many times.
It’s so great that you’ve made it 24 days without falling off plan so that you can start to lose those powerful cravings for sugar and carbs.
I’m not sure if you follow Carnivore Kipp and his channel, but he has also struggled mightily with trying to stay on plan and fell completely off for the last 2 or 3 mos and just re-started with a 180 day challenge to do strict/clean carnivore.
Ive been nearly 2 yrs carnivore and have not only lost 101 lbs, but I’ve also reversed/cured T2 diabetes, high BP, fatty liver disease, migraines, acid reflux, IBS, arthritis, depression, anxiety and a lot more and I’m off all meds.
I’m 62 and I now weigh the same as when I was 19 yrs old and feel amazing.
If you’d like to hear my carnivore story, I was just interviewed by Dave Mac (Zero Carb Life) and I was also interviewed by Kerry (HomesteadHow) a few mos ago. The title of that video is “Lost 101 Lbs”.😊😊

@@wavepotterwellness Sally K Norton on Oxalic Acids, Oxalate Dumping. Very much a factor for some of the issues on faces ... especially trying to go "plant free" after a lifetime of plant toxins and Oxalate accumulation and damage. These are HUGE changes your body is making on so many levels and the chemistry of metabolic pathways.... Don't focus on "weight loss" at all until you have been successful at being carnivore in a "positive" way for quite sometime... It's often miraculous, but don't force your expectations that "it must be a miracle" ... especially within a 30 day period.... It's taken me the lady couple years of Carnivore, the last year plus if Raw Carnivore, and the last 6 months of high fat RAW Carnivore...and prior to that I was raw salmon & steamed chicken for the better part of almost 16 years...
Also BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT supplements!!!!
It's the "other/additional" ingredients that are making MILLIONS VERY ILL....!!!!
like Microcrystalline cellulose and Glycerin Glycerol Vegetable Glycerin, etc .. make sure you ONLY take actually pure supplements and if it say the capsule is anything other than "gelatin" ...like say: cellulose capsule...you may want to BUY GELATIN CAPSULES and do the tedious work to repack them ... Or dump it in some thick cream, warm butter or milk or whatever it takes because allergen, irritants, toxins can be VERY SMALL IN QUANTITY but have massive impact.

His protocols for B1 / Thiamine were a big part of my survival in the last year that have contributed to the ongoing improvement and ultimately the success of the "resolution" /end of Achlorhydria..and as far as I can tell even the end of any hypochlorhydria... Obviously for me, it's a bit early to claim my stomach is at 100% ...being 52 years old and having been downing entire bottle of stomach acid pills per meal.... A tip .Read the book on toxic super foods. If you have eaten these vegetables ( over the years because you though they where good ) then there is an issue when doing carnivore. After like half a year or maybe even later, based on how your body takes care of toxic poisons, your body will get rid of the toxins and if you do strict carnivore then this detox can be brutal.
I had huge issues. I even had problems with my eyes. If you eat a little bit of these toxic super food vegetables , every ones a while, then this issue will not manifest.
Believe me if you think a sugar craving is bad then you will be in for a big surprise. bY the way 69 over 109 is a bit low in european standards. Upper value needs be like 120 9 is what they recommend). Low value of 69 is good.
I have done carnivore for a few years and so I guess I can say I got some experience. I now eat a heavy meat meal with little bit of vegetables every ones a while.( This is to not have these awful detox issues ) A cheat day is a bad day !! Do not do that. I do ones and twice a day meals as well with ( intermitted fasting )
It is great to be fat addapted . I do my workout before eating with no issues at all.

Very good that you quit the sweet stuff. Well done.
I am still a sugar addict. I was raised on cakes and sweets.
It's impossible for me at this time to completely quit sugar but luckily I never ate rice, pasta , bread or potatoes too much and like anyone with taste buds always hated "vegetables"
Luckily I also discovered meat when I was around 7yr by eating some Duck and I have eaten meat every day my whole life. The only time I got really sick was when I decided to be "healthy" and started eating vegetables by making them into soups (as they taste like shit).
6 months into that I was in hospital with a cricket ball sized appendix having an emergency operation. No more veg after that.

There is something especially sinister about carby veggies, pastas and breads. Especially with the food pyramid when people are told they’re health foods and should be eaten ten times a day. Everyone knows to limit sugar, and not eat too much of it, but it’s super easy to way overeat bread. I hope your recovery went okay.

I found that dairy made me fail A small side of vegetable after 30 days of Carnivore is ok if just meat bores you to death. Eggs and butter saves the day also I dont get a craving for fruit, sugar, or grains if I have a few pieces of celery on the side. Low carb veg really dont trigger carg craving. At least not for me.
