Right! I think it's because I heard the cards with tap to pay aren't fully metal, like the one side with tap to pay isn't metal; which I think is the back. While the Apple card is fully metal.

I want this card badly but that annual fee 😩
Hey if you like going to Cheesecake Factory or Shake Shack and use Uber or Uber Eats once a month; you’ll be getting $240 in credits per year. Thereby offsetting the annual fee.
Plus for the first year if you can pick up the welcome bonus (especially off Resy; 20% back on restaurant purchases up to $250 back and 75,000 Pts) you would be definitely coming out ahead.
Plus pro tip; they are going to be increasing the annual fee to $325 soon. If you apply now you can most likely lock in the $250 annual fee. Just something to think about.
Honestly Calby, the rose gold is ruined for me due to the chip being yellow gold. It would've looked nice if the chip was in the standard silver.

Thanks! Unfortunately, it isn't fully metal. It's fully metal on the front but plastic on the back; therefore tap to pay can still functions

I have been looking into it! I just think at this time using a credit card with no foreign transaction fees, seems like the better choice. Unless you need to transfer funds overseas.

Hahaha, nah. So if you can use the food credits on this card naturally like using Uber Eats or going to Shake Shack or Cheesecake factory, ect. once a month, then you actually come out almost breaking even on the annual fee of $250 (short $10).
After that the multipliers on this card is one of the strongest in the market (4x on dining & groceries). Plus the points can be worth a lot. So for example a trip to Japan can cost $600 to $1000. However if you know how to use the points properly you could book that same flight for 45,000 points or $450 in equivalent cash back value. Thereby stretching the value you get back on your purchases even further making it an intriguing card.
I know though there are some people that get this card to flex with and are lazy to actually use this card to it's fullest potential. However if you are willing to spend the extra effort you can come out way ahead (mostly if you travel internationally).
