You had a hard time with the knife because you were using the tip of the knife instead of the middle blade. The tip usually gets neglected when sharpening. You also get more leverage when cutting with the middle portion of the blade. You may also just have a dull knife.

Excellent video young lady! I'm definitely glad I got the PRG card a couple months ago so I get to enjoy this new card and it's new perks without having to pay the $250 yearly fee. Also now I got my answer as to why everybody else has been getting their cards right away and I still haven't received mine because I'm an existing customer; didn't even ship until last Friday even though I requested a replacement right away. I just recently got the Schwab Platinum Card so with the new multipliers of the gold card I will be able to really accumulate MR points for liquidation.
Thanks for showing them side-by-side like that. I asked for the rose gold for my replacement card. Now that I have it I wish I had asked for the regular gold.
More so looking for advice than a question but does it make sense to get this if I already have the Amx platinum and Chase Reserve? I use the Reserve for food purchases that are at 3x so does the extra 1x make that much of a difference? The groceries def makes sense but having a hard time justifying taking another hit on credit report for a hard pull and another $250 fee even though after the credits it's like 30 bucks.

Nobody, meaning other youtubers are talking about the fee amex gold card users are charged to transfer points to airlines for miles. Amex charges .06 cents for every point up to a max of $99 bucks so almost every transfer is going to cost 99 bucks. That's expensive

It's more cooper in person Jason, which was a bummer for me but It's still a really nice card. In certain light it can give off a pinkish hue, but when compared to Apple's Rose Gold MacBook, it's cooper.

I picked the rose gold colored card because it was marketed as a limited edition. Having now seen both colored cards in person the regular gold card is a far more classier looking card than the rose gold. Will be changing mine to the gold.

I just got my metal ones (not a new user, just a card replacement) and I am not impressed at ALL. My metal gold card feels flimsy and is almost like half plastic half metal, it bends easily and doesn’t have a metal feel compared to my platinum card which feels like a proper metal card. Very disappointed

Just used the chat feature to order the regular gold. Now I'll have: plastic PRG gold, metal rose gold, and metal gold; all functional.

Amex Gold now is 4x on worldwide restaurants. Only be careful if the transactions actually code as dining.

No, the Amex PRG and Gold card are the same product. Amex has a once in a lifetime rule.

It's charged on the first billing cycle. In more popular and developed cities, I haven't had an issue with Amex.

When I signed up came with gold so got that one but ordered replacement in pink gold just so easier to find with other gold cards.

The regular gold came first since it was a brand new card. Rose gold came 1 week later since it was a replacement.

if it is true that the $100 airline credit doesn't work for AU cards, that is a change from the PRG.
AU cards can use the airline credit that deducts from the primary cardholder, but they won't be issued their own separate $100 airline credit.
