Good video, I've covered this in a slightly different way on my 981 Boxster it's relatively straightforward to buy new sheets and shape and secure them to protect the area.
@@TommyLGarage Already more affordable that the Zunsport ones but still crazy money for a few pieces of mesh. I went the Test Drive Scotland way and saved myself quite a few bucks. Enjoy the channel though.
ELectroBOOM... I'm a Porsche guy and I've watched a couple videos here and I have been trying to figure out who you remind me of. It's electro boom The crazy electrical engineer. The cadence of your speech and mannerisms are similar. He's hilarious. It's a compliment.
Hmm, I just installed mesh grills to protect the front radiators of my 2014 Boxster S. As soon as I made a post of the mod on a particular Fb page, someone posted this "LN Engineering says you are going to overheat a particular cylinder with that contraption. I think he says number 3, not sure.". That said, I'm thinking, why isn't this concern widely known if adding "Mesh" in front of the grills will cause overheating on a particular cylinder? I see you did this mod 3 years ago, and I believe you've traded/sold the Cayman for a 911. So, if you can recall, did you notice any rise in Coolant/Oil temps outside of the normal temp ranges you experience prior to installing the mesh? Thanks in advance...
Apparently this voids warranty but I don’t get why. Does the mesh slow the airflow to point of increasing temp? Seems weird. I haven’t bought it or the car yet but thinking of both and read somewhere re warranty
When you edit the part that looks like it could be problematic, I become suspicious. Maybe a more detailed instructional video showing what was edited out so when we get these, we aren't cussing and saying, "It looked so easy when Tommy did it!"
Sweet! Just ordered the mesh. Now I just need a Porsche...
Lmao!!!

I tried it and couldn’t cut it to shape which didn’t damage the car (sharp edges)

This gave me a great chuckle!! I do see it haha
@@TommyLGarage 😁👍🏼
Okay, now that looks REALLY easy to do. Thanks for the tip, I'm gonna order mine now.
Hope you enjoy
I was waiting for the voice over with the 800 number to call 🤣🤣

I did not notice any changes and temperature. And I took this car through the track multiple times like this and had zero issues.
This was probably your shortest video. Still equally entertaining though 👍
Haha thanks
Great product, wish there was a solution for my M2C!
Custom route !

Never had any temp issues. Also don’t see how this could void warranty. Must be dealer by dealer.
We all own Porsches. Of course, we will click the link !
Haha
M3 content coming soon
@@TommyLGarage Thor m flasher?

Thanks, where is the link?

Is there one for the 718 GT4?
I believe so

This next question also applies to your mudflaps:
Why didn't they include this from the factory?
BTW... My mudflaps work perfectly! IG: snake.f80
Because they were worried about upsetting Subaru owners hehe
