Hate those things with a passion this was my last resort but looks like they don’t work. Don’t want a nasty net over my pond. Had a net over and a two line fence and little £&:&& still got two of my huge koi.
I think it will work if you don’t have an island in the pond My pond is 3-4’ deep with sloping sides So I will do an electric fence It has nowhere to go within the pond Plus a motion detecting water squirter I think those two items combined will be 99.99% effective
Electrify some netting! Cover the area with a dome-shape of stiff wire (hoop) and then camouflage over this with netting. Maybe install some motion detection cameras that will trigger the electric netting to go on.
