Great to watch you guys ripping up the lanes and giving the Anti brigade even more reasons to ban ALL off road fun. Keep at it and soon you will be unable to wallow in the mud. If by any chance you are on private land with permission then no problem.
I don't know what everyone gets their knickers in a twist about. Rain and wind causes more damage than we did on this trip. No point in having any lanes if everyone spends their time on the internet talking about using them without leaving tyre tracks.
hurrah! where are the mountain sheep? back in the mid 1990's the government passed laws restricting the stocking levels/density on moorlands, mountains, AONBs, SPSIs etc because all of the little hooves were causing environmental damage/erosion.
What a day out this was 🤙🏻😁 think we’re gonna have to give Ryan some off road driving lessons 😉 Our video from the day will be live this evening so head over and check it out 😁
Rumour has it, that when all the Disco's have gone the way of the dinosaurs. There is a Yeti still going strong over the lanes. Can't complain about the odd stall when you've no low range, unlike the others.
Excellent video, that looked like a great day. I was going to say "all the Yeti needs is this and that blah, blah, blah" but I'm going to shut up as its just fantastic.
Thoroughly enjoyed that video. Warts n all. Great editing, great group, little George loving it. Few repairs, but mega impressed with the little Yeti, surprised the clutch survived the day though tbh
I nearly bought a Yeti as a dog bus, but ended up buying a fully loaded F11 530d and as much as I love driving the BM, I still have a soft spot for Yeti’s. They’re a bit of a marmite car, but there’s no doubting their resilience to abuse.😁 I worked as a trail guide covering the Cambrian mountains and Brecon Beacons and the most unusual vehicle I’ve seen out on the lanes was an MG convertible and 3 series BM, complete with snorkels on the Strata Florida.🤪
I think if you guys are committed enough to cut the yeti slightly and fit some 235/75/15 mud terrain at may perform even better on those muddy green lanes
Next video..... damage report on the state of the Yeti's underside!! That took a proper beating but what a Little Trooper it is..... absolutely massively impressed with how that coped!!! As ever a brilliant video!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Good vid Darkside guys!! Really surprised how well the yeti on minor modifications does really well on a tough lane like pig lane!! Definitely put it through its paces!! Nice to see the Touareg’s at it too!! 🤘
Well, on Saturday, me and a friend took our bikes to North Wales (near Rhosmoor) and did a lot of trails, finishing with Pig Lane. And, WE COMPLETED Pig Lane :D Yes, it took us 4 hours, yes it took 2 of us to get the bikes out of the bog several times. Yes, the pubs were shut by time we'd got out of there. BUT, we did it :D
@@DarksideDevelopments But if you compare it to the Yeti, you take everything to the extreme 👌, it would be nice to see it in action again and how you leave it prepared for more off-road!!
Great video boys, at least you kept out all dumb arse f#kin music, by doing that we can hear all your chat advice direction laughs an cursing, all your knocks bumps revs every kind of noises and squelch, well done you guys are the only 4x4 group doing it the way it should be done, not like those UK 4x4 twats who think they are a off shoot of top gear, most of the time what they're saying to each other can't even be heard, luv yur vids boys keep it real for all of us that don't get the chance to do these routs.
Once again, the Yeti is the star. That thing's unbelievable😊
I'll watch the 4wdUK video later.

Haha, tyre woes. Will watch when we are back from Silverstone!
@@DarksideDevelopments sure blame it on the tyres 😉 hope you’re enjoying silverstone 😁
Keep 'em coming - just incredible, the places you go!

The repair shops are gonna be busy after this one boys! Great video! Go Skoda! Go VW! 🍻
I had to come and watch this a second time ,really miss the hour long green laning / off road videos ,keep doing what your doing guys great video 👍🚗
We will do more!
@@DarksideDevelopments that's good to hear, can't wait to see what you get up to next or what vehicle you use 👌👍

Loving these long 1hr green laning videos lmao. keep them coming 👌 only time i can genuinely watch a full 1hr video
Bet the 4x4 crew laughed at the Yeti initially, obviously I'm a fan of the little tacker....lower weight is the key!
I'm absolutely gobsmacked at the ability of that little YETI. Great footage lads.
Does everything the Touaregs do and more sometimes!
Top lads. You held your own against some serious off-road machines there.

Those lanes make the Touareg look absolutely massive, monster truck status 😂

thank you so much for this and yesterday's video Ryan. this has made for sucha chilled weekend and funny as! the yeti is a low key boss!

Just imagine if the Yeti had another inch or two of ground clearance. That thing is quite surprising.
Amazing off road.😍
Great. Love the Yeti
Sir, I have 4x4 Yeti . Is great. Love from India.
Man I want a Yeti 😁 smashed it! 🤘🏼
that yeti proper mountain goat 🐐 👌
Oh dear time for a huge slice of HUMBLE PIE for someone 😂😂😂
Most kids his age would be FASCINATED by the camera! Not young George, not a bit of it 😂😂good lad, top video guys and what about that yeti!?
It's surprised everyone!
Great day out! Don't worry Ryan, we all have those days. Some more than others! Just saying!😆😆
Lol
Great video, really enjoyed that. atb 👍
Another great video lads. I love your content with the Yeti. It just skips over everything doesn't it! Due to lower weight perhaps?
Cheers! Yeh probs a big factor!
Yeti rules great stuff but must be expensive fun.👍👍👍
We've gone from Content to full on Sunday movie's 👌🏽
Cheers all 👍🏼
Brilliant vid makes me miss offroading
Epic love the yeti
Have you thought about trying the rivington pike green lane not so sure the yeti would manage it but it would be a good challenge for the Touareg’s 👍🏻
We will give it a go, if you have any routes drop us an email!
Yeti sales after this 📈
Do you need some better off road tyres on that V10? Surely it shouldn't get stuck that often? Really being shown up by the Yeti, go Skoda.
The proper mud tyres were so noisy on the road it was too noisy but yes, it needs better!
Great vid! Have you got a link for those hella stickers?
We had them custom made
What a amazing car that yeti is lol 👍
I just sold my VW touareg wish I kept it now lol
I was thinking should do video with them guy then here u am loo
Living the dream 👌
Skoda Yeti 4x4 is very great SUV in the world. I have. Love from India.
Hi guys, why is T5 not on your routes, departures?
Robs T5 van? It's more of a camper than an off-roader so doesn't do anything extreme.

mad lads
hello a question, can the turbines on a 5.0 be mounted on a vw touareg v8?
They are smaller so don't bother! We are fitting V12 turbos to a V8 instead
@@DarksideDevelopments v12 tdi? Q7?

Told ryan to get a yeti when he bought touareg wouldnt have it but yeti best car there 😂😂
👏👏
Yeti seems to keep up with the other 'more off road' cars.
It's punching above its weight!

Great video guys. Ryan , gets some proper fucking mud tyres on that v10, try summit mudhogs
It ruined how it drives 99% of the time otherwise I would!

Man, it’s bad idea to use orange cloth to compensate wire power while towing other car. Sorry for my English, but it dangerous for windglass and life.
The winch sail? Thats to weight the wire down. Towing and recovering needs to be done safely, 100%
cant take a green oval badge out without breaking something its the rules, plus i think the price of yeti's have just gone up in value 😉
elsewhere in the u.k. they are trying to impose 20 minute communities.
Note to all of you off roader groups keep the shite music to a minimum it does nowt but ruin the videos
