You have a 1 in 32 shot at a bowl with a 50% chance to win it. When uve got the media, refs, commissioner, coaches and staff and star players all throwing shade or disliking you... you WONT get a ring. Players like OBJ dez Bryant and T.O will never get rings cuz the nfls doesn't like overly opinionated black athletes. Watson is the most recent case. Look how Russell handled his issues with the team in comparison and notice the difference in narratives and treatment. NBA is way more tolerable of it but thats becuz the NBA has a wider market and audience so there's more money to be made having a MJ kobe or Lebron who are vocal. BUT mj pops got killed, and kobe caught a rape charge. Lebron may be the only one to leave a sport clean

The difference is the NBA built it's brand on and around Jordan. They saw you as expendable and replaceable. They tolerated you until you reached the age they considered replaceable.
I loved you T.O. I was pissed when Andy got you outta Philadelphia, it made me realize Andy was weak. He should have made that situation work the way Phil Jackson did with Shaq and Kobe
