I love this song.... Your timing on the slaps is Amazing. I feel this is one of the best songs out of all of your albums. It's so inspiring to watch you play it. Thanks so much! God Bless!!
its nice to learn something about bass , stark reminder for guys to make sure to focus on a good sound & tone , certainty taking notes from the approach ,, pro feeling, positive outreach, this guy is smooth,
In every video of him I've seen and continue to see, one of the things that is so apparent, outside of his great tone and taste and note placement, is just the joy that comes from his playing and how it translates to me when I listen. It's like watching someone perform an act of kindness and you just happen to be witnessing it. And the kind act is coming from that person's soul because that's who they ARE, not simply what they are doing. I hope and pray that I can achieve that kind of clarity and honesty and joy someday in MY playing. Hat's off to you MR MLD and thank you for the gift that you continue to share! Oh - and your slap tone is pure tastiness!
That’s sounds awesome. That bass sound huge! What did you use to record? What about to feed it to your video so we can hear it as well? What did you use?
Oh yeah! Funk at it’s finest! Already downloaded the CD from Itunes! I like the track ‘Lyle Mays’ as well. Where can I get your signature bass from? That TONE! Omg! Nasassstttyyyy!!!! 😊

You shoulda played with the original track si you could introduce people it. The backing track is too loud and you can't hear most of your playing. The backing track ain't even good to begin with.
Great Jam. Andy Narrell made a tasteful and soulful composition. You Studio musicians turn everything into a gem.
Absolutely love his bass playing and sound, no trickery straight no chaser.
Simply one of the best most tasty bass players of all time. No wonder why him and Lee Ritenour play so well together> Thank yo Melvin
