- What’s good y’all welcome back to another video of fishing Planet where I showed how to really farm a lot of unique Nile perch in one day at the Congo River with insane cash and xp. Hope y’all enjoy this video and find it helpful despite it been a lengthy video 😅.

@bambam23-vi1kl so basically you try different lures and rod set up when rotating for Niles in different spot that’s smart 👍

It is easy to catch these fish at lvl 80 with the correct lure but try catching them under lvl 50 with only the congo pack for equipment.
Depending on the Congo pack you have/bought fishing can be same as a level 80 but I can see it been hard for players under 50 has you said.
@@dsuniverse9576Congo pack with boat only gives you the rod and reel to be able to even remotely fish the Congo. You do not have access to the purple shad till after lvl 70 and for 3 days real time I have yet to catch a Unique anywhere other than mast of the pan fish. The Perch and Tigerfish are not so easy.
@jameshoward8609 so with the match and bottom rod from that Congo pack I would recommend going for tigerfish mainly. Nile perch can be caught on both of them aswell but at a slower rate. If you don’t mind me asking what platform you play on

I have caught all of the other types of fish except for the Uniques of the bigger fish. No problem catching Trophy Nile Perch or even Unique African Sharptooth Catfish but not a Unique Nile Perch yet and have played the Congo for 3 or 4 real days and 15 days at least in game days. Not 5 minutes after my previous reply I finally got a Unique African Tigerfish. Hooray! FYI using #10/0 barbless hooks and large minnows. Bottom rod got the fish... float rod set to 60". 12.28, -443.27
@jameshoward8609 your welcome and thank for watching me the videos. Just stick to tiger fish for now you can even mixed in a few catfish if you want aswell but at the moment you need to be level 70 for the Tropicana casting combo and a few good lures will be unlock too. Tiger fish give the most cash and xp but there more of a quantity of fishing for that to happen my recommendation is to have multiple rotation spots and just farm them for now.

Yup 6/0 to 10/0 is good to use

Yes you can but the small offset hook will catch a mixture of all the fish. Small medium large but you should be good to go.

Bro I have tried to do the twitch the same way your doing it and I can never get the hook set that way lol. I have the worst time setting the hook using the Carolina rig
😂 it will take some some but to be honest the twitching I used it auto hook set the fish I just hold down the hook set button and reel now and then it’s like stop and go retrieve with a couple seconds intervals between each reel. So you don’t of to worry about hook set just hold your rod high enough so when they strike and go down with the lure it hook sets.

How are you only getting 23K for a 400 lb perch? I get 44k for a 380 lb one.
No premium on my account if your using it that could be why but this is the second time I hear players getting a lot of cash on XP on fish at the Congo.
@@dsuniverse9576 Also I just noticed that you get less xp for fish the higher level you are. Caught a uni nile perch 366 lb. at lvl 66 got 41k and leveled to 67 next day got another 368 lb only go 39k. Same exact gear.
Yup the higher your level the more XP your going to need to rank up. Also sometimes heavy gears give less XP if you catch a small fish on it but you do need big equipments/gears at the Congo to fish those monsters
@@dsuniverse9576 I know about the more xp needed like that in every game, But I was using the same equipment and getting less and less xp per fish.
@@dsuniverse9576 Now I'm level 72 the same size Nile Perch. 366 lb now gives me 33k and I'm still using the same gear. at lvl 66 that fish gave me 41k xp.
