Both are slated as releasing in 85 so which was first and furthermore who wrote the song originally? Any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated

And it should be AOR rock music and Stage should have been a AOR rock band than Italo disco group, you have to give credit to this song and their song Real..

Are you the one who has made this exact argument on discogs? It is Italo period...
It doesn't matter if it is Italian disco, AOR, or whatever. It's just an opinion. You know, Italo Disco and AOR used to be a trend of theirs back in the mid-late 1980s... Until they kind of stop doing the music, maybe around the late 80s, they stop doing crossover music with Italian disco and AOR rock music, since Italian dance and eurodance became a trend at the end of the 80s and early 1990s.
You know, if you listen to the song "Maybe One Day" by The Creature, which came out in early 1984, it has a little bit of hi-tech AOR rock music crossover with Italian dance pop music. They say that song didn't count as AOR. But the song had that guitar solo in it.
I'm no music expert in knowing these things... But there is some Italo Disco music with AOR rock music that used to do those; to be precise, even the dance rock song "Max Him-Danger Danger" has the dance pop and the intense guitar solo vibe, released in 1986.
But anyone has opinions. I'm neither a music expert nor a historian who knows music or style music. I'm not a historian.
