This boss's ost took me by surprise. First time hearing it in game it really didnt click with me. But listening to it separately I think its actually really good. There something unnerving and haunting about it which is fitting since Putrescence means rotting flesh.
yeah haunting feels like the perfect word to describe it. It has like two switching segments (the unnerving harp/singing and the intense string melody) that grow louder and cut off until they eventually come together, it’s amazing. For some reason it reminded me of the worshipper of the dead/gank squad ost from DS2 lol
In the Launch trailer of SOTE, there was a more intense ost playing when P. Knight was on-screen, so i thought that would’ve been his theme, but i honestly do prefer this one, it has such a dreamlike-softness to it, but it’s still pretty eerie and it does sound really intense in the second phase.
Awesome! I also just no-hit PK with milady. It’s the first boss I’ve ever no-hit. It didn’t look as smooth as this, and was over a bit faster, probably just because of scadutree fragments. I adored this fight. Such a refreshingly fair/clean feeling for a fight that isn’t a duel. A nice palette cleanser after wrestling the camera with Bayle!
@@DHREAVER eyy nice GG! Yeah I bet most people were a bit overleveled for PK. The fight really grew on me, at first I was disappointed because I expected a sleep/st Trina boss, but now I’m pretty happy with it, it’s unique and the big combo with the horse and the rider going after you independently is so fun to dodge
Yet another crazy fight in an arena filled with very dark, intense purple water. 2:50 This is my favorite moment and it looked so tight the jumps at one point
We gotta take what we can get, Midra’s theme is so Bloodborne coded and Metyr is just a great one and I’m fighting discount Orphan of Kos in an Eileen cosplay
I still would have hoped that a boss tied with St. Trina (or even being her) would have been dream themed, graceful, and used sleep! That said, amazingly fought!
yeah we really got robbed of a dream/sleep based fight. Prior to the dlc I even had a dream about st Trina and saw a boss cutscene in my dreams with her so I was pretty disappointed when I played and realized that that’s it for this level. Still like this silly knight, but maybe more as a mid way point to a proper Trina/sleep boss Also thanks, I appreciate it!
Gotta get the style points when playing with Milady Thanks, I just jump with a bit of direction forwards or sidewards and that usually does it, had some luck on the last flame combo tho lol
didn’t really like him on my first run, but it was surprisingly fun to refight him. I like his silly design and the horse combo and blue fire attacks are pretty fun to dodge. Also the OST is a banger

I like how the OST kicks in during the fall.
@@tonystarrk4859 agreed a lot of osts in the dlc actually sync with the boss fights and it's so cool.

If I had to describe the Putrescent Knight Ost in two words, it would be Eternal Rest.

This boss reminded me of Orphan of Kos except he is on a horse. This is the Bloodborne 2 we never got. Oh Michael-zaki, you!

That indeed was a cinematic duel. Well played.

Damn that outfit looks amazing
I know the helm and armor but not the gauntlets and greaves
greaves are rellana’s, gauntlets I’m not sure here
Well look at you striking that confident Pose
good Job, those Flames are my downfall I can just never quite guess where the hitbox begins and ends

Jump really late, that seems to be the case for most of these ground attacks.
Tip, i use placy’s ruin for that move, it lasts the entire attack, damages him, and keeps you out of the fire
This boss weapon is wack I mean look how the tarnished used it
Its gotta break some spine or two
i love this boss as i do most elden ring boss(except godrick and malenia) but damn some of the mount bosses are goofy
damn what’s wrong with godrick lmao
