So many ideas that may be garbage but I'm stoked for this podcast: get a cohost who is either good at storytelling or good at asking questions who you vibe with; work on a format or a loose outline of what you'll do each episode (for example: Tossed Popcorn has a really good format that they follow every episode that makes it so easy to follow as a listener); and, it would be cool to hear your view on famous movie and TV tattoos (e.g Prison Break, Momento) and interview make up artists who have worked on shows with a lot of tattooing. I'm always interested in actually learning something. It would be cool if you could interview Indigenous tattooers, Hawaiian, Coast Salish, Inuit, Maori artists, for example. It would be cool to hear from surfers, too. Everyone has a cool story and that's the best kind of podcast: good storytelling. Good luck!

U mentioned a contest like ink master, that would be so awesome. Watched a video (don’t remember who) that did that and it was great. You saw everyone drawing, and more of the process and set up of tattooing instead of the ridiculous childlike drama of ink master.

I do something like that with my art. I pick one thing I want to get better at and for a month I draw it once a day in only 3 mins. Or I do a big piece once a month. Its a great idea to do a Hannya mask back piece plan!! Maybe pick one or two days a week and have that dedicated to the rotaion for just those back pieces??

You played a clip of him being pretty fired up one episode lol He’s been around for a long time, pretty passionate about tattooing (a lot of options about non-tattoos in the field) and seems to be pretty open to talking to people for his podcast as well. I could see y’all getting along.
