Hello i am a Civil Engineer and i had some questions and suggestions for this process.
    1) What about the soil pressure on tank when it is empty is it capable of bearing that,as we usually use rcc tank for these kind of storage ..and it has massive difference in strength if compared with plastic
    2) do we have to place it at particular open space which is not used for heavy vehicles parking etc. because the top layer shown in video will settle down and will soon damage the tank.
    3) if the base soil on which the tank is placed is soft soil then the rcc base shown in video will not work it will settle with the soil.
    Please do reply.

Being a civil engineer I also have a same question about earth pressure when the tank is empty. Moreover, one more question is about its durability in hilly areas especially in earth quake prone areas.

All was fine for few years.. a heavy rain of decade seen and the tank squeezed inside like a punctured tire. Pvc tanks can't take pressure

I got this 2000 liters syntex sump tank from water equipment in porur chennai. And installed it. While burring it under ground some sand went in. Now its three months im unable to remove it. The man hole is small for a normal person to enter. If u put a ladder the person cannot enter for sure. So I HV no idea to how the heck to clean it in some 6 months of use. The space I HV is only enough for max 2k litter tank to fit.
CAUTION : IF GOD FORBID SOME KID FELLS IN IT. THERE IS NO WAY CAN BE SAVED. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE CONSTRUCTED A IRON COVER AND SLAB ON IT. BUT WHILE TO CHECK IF THE WATER HAS FILLED I NEED TO OPEN IT AND WAIT NEAR IT. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A PROBLEM IN ANY KIND OF SUMP BUT MY QUESTION IS WHAT WILL BE THE contingency plan in case of rescue?????.
CONCLUSION : MY FEEDBACK IS DONT GO FOR IT. considering cleaning and danger.

The time it takes to make a conventional sump, cost of labor and materials, water proofing is not cheap in Bangalore.
For 5000 litre tank if you compare conventional sump with that of the solution proposed by sintex, it is only marginal higher cost to Sintex.

@bindumadhavi, of course there is saving in case of material and time. But there are flaws. It cost me 24k for 2000 liter tank.
Total tank + Transportation + installation + construction etc of about 60k.

You are first filling water step by step and then back filling soil around tank. I think this if so that surrounding soil does not compress the tank, right?
But what happens if there is situation where the tank water is completely used and tank is empty? Will the empty tank withstand pressure of surrounding soil?
If the sintex tank is installed as per your instruction, and concrete layer is put on top, can we park a two-wheeler or car on top?
Also, Rs.12 per liter is very expensive.

Thanks for the Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Proutklarton Protecting Aqua Plan (probably on Google)? It is a great one off guide for getting prepared for a mega drought minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.

Its a failure technique . Few cases at the time of rain when water covers the water tank will come out and i have seen one real time example in Banglore . Never do it thinking its cost effective it doubles the cost .
