Ashmita I am very surprised to hear that it is the first time you hear a Hindi song of Yesudas.His first hindi song was for the film Jai Jawan Jai Kisan in 1971 but the first song released was Jane man Janeman for the film Choti si baat under the legendary music director Salil Chowdary in 1976 .But in a programme yesudas had said that his first recording was for the movie Anand Mahal composed by Salilda .Then came Chitchor in 1976 and Yesudas won the National Award for the best playback singer for his songs in Chitchor.Thereafter he had sung many number of songs under various music directors in Hindi.

Salil choudhary, Rajesh roshan, Bappi lahiri, Raj kamal were all music directors who used Das sir's magical voice in the hindi industry. And most of these songs are over 5 or 6 minutes long. Even if you don't have enough time to make a reaction video, please do listen to atleast these songs. You'll love them.

In the yester years, the only choice of all the premium music directors in bollywood was Dr. KJ Yesudas sir. The tale is that, the other singers started losing their chances and eventually they went against him that he quit singing regularly in Bollywood. But he has sung song here and there. E.g., Chamak Cham Cham (Rajasthani Song). Listen to it. The reason why Yesudas sir was the only choice because of his clarity in even pronouncing/enunciating the last syllable in a line/word/lyrics and his mesmerizing voice. The regular hindi speaking bollywood singers have never pronounced those last syllables with so much clarity and they always give a loose end to it. I don't know if I was able to explain. Thanks!
