I am Phoenix Concertina user in Japan. I love this concertina, and play Irish music, Studio Ghibli music, Japanese old song (for example, Sukiyaki song), and so on. I enjoy Phoenix very much.
This is now my new dream to learn to play the concertina! I found out some years ago tha ocarina is very easy to master and have played that instrument awhile now. So, I am looking for my next instrument to learn and this will be it!
Hi Lars, you will love it. Plus, when you buy a Phoenix from us, you get VIP access to the full concertina lessons series with Jack Talty which will give you a top repertoire of superb concertina tunes by the end of it. mcneelamusic.com/concertinas/the-phoenix-concertina/
I'm really impressed - in particular, so many concertinas seem to make a tapping noise when they're played fast but this was dead silent (as far as the tapping noise goes). Is this the riveted action that achieves this?

@@mcneelamusic I only have half of the money now. So I have to save some more. But before the end of this year I will buy it! 😃
I mean the Wren 2! That's all I can afford. 😓
@@LarsStinell That's a good start, Lars. You can always trade it in for a Phoenix in the future if you find you love the concertina!
Thanks!🙂😎
An instrument sounds as good as the good tune you play on it...
