My daughter has Mercury in Taurus. Her voice has a natural melody to it and people compliment her on her speaking voice all of the time. She's definitely very stubborn in her thinking and can have difficulty handling things that don't go her way. But, she's EXCELLENT at finding solutions to help others calm down and resolve conflict.
I'm Mercury in Taurus :) I am a Yoga Teacher and love to create my own guided meditations. I have been told my voice is soothing and calming. I always get told that I have a way of making people feel more comfortable in conversation... one thing I notice though is that I learn just a litttttle bit slower than some people but once I learn it it's ingrained forever and I can take it to the next level. Just slow and steady to retain and understand. :)

He was the most popular movie and theater director on the Balcans and he directed also in USA. Dallas and LA.
His favorite actor was Clint Eastwood :)
And he was a politician and writer too. He wrote above 30 books about politics, theater....pholosofy. he spoke 9 languages ! He was in a diplomacy too.

My husband has Mercury in Taurus, thank you for helping me understand the placement more! He is a strong leader and influential communicator in his profession. Oh this makes so much sense! I have Mercury in Taurus. I'm a book binder/paper maker. I previously wrote book reviews, mostly for dark fiction and horror. I was a team member for a blog called SciFi and Scary. One of my passions is my photography which is mostly books and skulls. I had a fairly big following on #bookstagram before leaving social media. My moniker was "booksandbloodletting." I sing. I'm a great whistler! And I'm not too shabby at impressions and funny and voices, if I do say so myself... and I do 😁. Also something that just screams Taurus: the most noticeable indicator of my weight loss is all this loose skin at my neck. As a quadruple taurus, it just figures. I have to wear this loose skin like a badge of honor. I've come so far. I feel so Taurean today. I'm going to miss Mercury when he leaves for Gemini.

I am listening to this video and when you start speaking about voice it dawns on me that as mercury taurus person I have that exact thing manifesting trough me. I am of Eastern European decent and I live in USA for way too long to still have an accent, but I still do. I also have a specific tone of voice inherited from my dad that I used to despise in my teens. I noticed the combination of accent and my voice I noticed on a daily basis will make people stop what they are doing and direct attention to me. It used to embarrass me and make me feel uncomfortable, but I learned to make it work. I am just tickled how Astrology always is right even if not in obvious ways

I have mercury RX in Taurus opposing Uranus in Scorpio. (6th/12th).
I hold back a lot and contemplate everything so that when I do speak - the feedback is that it pierces right to the heart of the matter, which can apparently be hard to hear. I’ve developed more bedside manner through the years...but still...my combination is very observant and it’s like - don’t lie to me, don’t be fake...I will do my best to move past it when that sort of thing happens.
On the flip side I love movie quotes and talking music from most all genres.

Bono always comes to mind, as a Sun, Mercury, Venus conjunction in Taurus, opposing a Scorpio Moon. He was nicknamed for his voice, Bono Vox. And you're right, the name of the movie is Easy Rider. My son, whose birthday is today, has Mercury that had just gone into Gemini less than 12 hours before he was born, and it's always amazed me at how quickly the switch gets flipped when an ingress occurs. He embodies the trickster quality of that Mercury and is a true comedian.

As a quick follow-up to my UFO offering, here's an intriguing story. I was first introduced to this shape in my own chart nearly ten years ago. I was told that the classical composer Schubert has this shape in his horoscope. When I researched Schubert, I came across an interview in the Guardian newspaper (9 January 2011). A famous English classical pianist, Paul Lewis, was talking about playing Schubert's music:

When we talk about communication we often refer to the expressive element but there is another aspect with the receptive element. I have this native placement, Mercury in Taurus. I don’t think I have a captivating voice or anything; but, I do find that people open up to me and dump their whole life story on me as if they’ve been hungry for someone to listen. It is weird and I don’t know why I have that effect on others!

Hi Acyuta, love your videos. So, I have Mercury, Venus, Mars, Chiron and Sun in Taurus and Moon in Mercury's Gemini. Stellium is in the 10th house, so the Moon is in the 11th. Not to get too deep, but I always loved singing and acting, but too afraid to ever pursue it... love talking and I guess I have always been able to get my point across in any conversation. When I'm passionate about a subject, oh everyone will agree with me at the end, even those who had a completely different opinion from mine! :D But, I will argue ONLY when I know I'm right, in any other case, I'm not getting into it.

I’m mercury in Taurus, moon in Taurus in the moons decan even, Venus in Leo, sun in Gemini. So I end up with a circle b/w mercury, Venus, sun and around we go. (Taurus is 6th house FYI). I really enjoyed this video and it did ring pretty true. I wanted to be a dancer for some time growing up and was in dance for a little while. Mercury does have a decent influence on me and I have always understood the dark side as well. I’m glad you went into that some. My mercury is very closely conjunct Algol as well which is where I think some of the truly dark stuff comes from. I also had a period of time in my youth where I wanted to be a forensic psychologist for the fbi.. I’ve been into psychology for a long time and love all things personality related and why people do what they do. Actually how I initially found astrology in high school. But I was always interested in serial killers and psychopaths fascinate me. I also have a true love for everything heist/thief related. If I lived in another time and was a man (with all that testosterone brings) I know I’d be a thief. 😂 But I know my thinking is weird in general bc I can think about very dark things without being badly affected as others can be… and it’s very removed almost in a kind of clinical way. I do think Algol has a part in it and in my 12th parts mercury is tightly conjunct Uranus in Aquarius. On the other hand I absolutely love deeply tragic romantic movies and though I don’t watch westerns really I love the freedom independence stuff of the Wild West. My favorite video game ever is Red Dead Redemption 2! It’s literally the best game, story, everything to me I’ve ever experienced.. it’s was almost akin to a spiritual experience and I still play it all the time. 😊 Lastly, my biggest complaint on this placement is that I can NEVER get to the point when I talk/write. Everything I say or write is soooo long it’s hilarious. I’m sure you can tell by this comment even. 😂 Also, I find the quick fast thinking part of mercury is greatly hindered.. for me at least. Which I am a Gemini sun and it’s honestly frustrating 😆

I have mutual reception of Mercury 24* conjunct Mars 22* in Taurus and Venus conjunct Sun in Gemini(5th house)! (I have almost exact degrees of Mars and Mercury as S.Dali) im a painter, artist, great cook(i see it as a form of art) a good dancer and really creative.. my voice shocks me sometimes how hypnotazing it sounds. Im looking forward to becaming an artthearapist and an animalothearapist. And as a Gemini Sun, Aquarius rising, Cap Moon(stellium) im expressing my Taurus placemets the most i guess, Taurus is also one of the top my favorites signs(my Gemini Has to be first of course)

Here's an odd question Adam...So my Mercury & Sun is in Virgo in my 5th but I am a Taurus Rising and I relate heavily to this profile. (Leo Moon, Venus and Mars in the 4th) Ever since the planets starting piling up in Taurus, I literally have lost my voice which is unfortunate for me since I use my voice to make money. I was wondering if things like this can be seen by the transits? It's chronic laryngitis. Any advice from anyone else would be greatly appreciated.

Pleased to hear your thoughts on Mercury in Taurus, as this is where he/she hangs out in my chart - in 6th of 'BAD Fortune! And square to Pluto. Not cosy...but Venus is exalted in Pisces, so that is delightful.
I write a LOT... much of it poetry - that just arrives..and I do what people call 'channelling'...don't like the word myself but can't think of a better one. I
I'm not at all 'conservative' in any political sense, but I enjoy traditional 'English' stuff, like cucumber sandwiches in an old fashioned hotel.

Two Fixed signs + two Cardinals. All four elements represented.
Neat, powerful grouping. Perhaps explains the eccentric quality of Mercury's activities in my life - I feel this god's role in my destiny is to help me ground the transpersonal potential described by Pluto and Neptune - who are both in aspect to Uranus by sextile(Pluto) and trine (Neptune).
I’m an angular Mercury in Taurus native. I have always said I’d love to be a sex therapist (Scorpio ascendant also) and even in astrology I’d love to specialise in synastry. It’s funny but I have often been complimented on my voice, and I’ve even been recognised by my voice, unfortunately I can’t sing to save my life 😅

When it comes to the voice, I couldn't help but to think on Jeremy Irons... I looked for his birth chart... and his Mercury is in Libra. Also a private person I know, with a very sensual voice that you can listen to for hours, has Mercury in Libra... Being Libra also a home for Venus... could it have that manifestation?

That’s so weird Mercury is in Taurus and I watched grand Torino for the first time last week 🤣 That’s a good example because he’s a racist old war vet in that film but still very lovable and stable.
