I'm 41 and have been a Led Zeppelin fan since high school. I'm a Zeppelin snob too: I have every album in at least 2 remastered CD versions, and the vinyl remastered versions. I say all this because I absolutely LOVE GVF and hope they go on to greater and bigger things. They've brought the blues back to rock, and when you say "real music" that's what it means. The blues is what makes rock great. When your songs are rooted in the blues you cannot go wrong. Yes, you will sound similar to Led Zeppelin but you're still doing your own thing. Nothing but love for GVF.

dude, there are tons of great bands out there playing great music I'm 50 and discover new stuff all the time, lots of guitars are still being played, it's harder to discover because everything is out there and you just have to wade through lots of shit, but it is out there
Lots of good music out there in the past 20 years that were heavily inspired by blues and classic rock besides GFV. Bands like The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Cage the Elephant, Mute Math, The Strokes, The Mars Volta, Arctic Monkeys and I could go on and on. These are bands that loved the sounds of the 50's-70's (and some early 80's influence) and integrated it into their music. GFV has an incredible energy and is getting more young people into guitar music again and older people into new music, so I can't say anything bad about them, but some of the bands I listed I feel make better overall music but that is entirely subjective.

Or the part in "Be Cool" -- "J-Lo? that shit's been mixed so much I could sound like Jenny from the Block!" Every time I start to worry about the state of modern music, something comes along to tell me it's going to be alright. O'Keefe Music foundation; Postmodern Jukebox; Camille and Kennerly; Two Cello's; Lindsey Stirling; and now Greta Van Fleet. Good music made by talented people is still out there. ... even if big business is trying to shove "music" built entirely out of marketing statistics down our gullets. You have made me eat my words. I have never watched a reaction video, but I like Wings of Pegasus since he does analyses videos and he is very respectful of every act he critiques, and he gives a great back story. With GVF he talked about some reaction videos that slagged them off. So I went searching for a reaction video, which I never watch. But I loved your reaction, and would like to thank you for your comments. Don't know what languages you were speaking, but good on you for having the brain capacity to open up your mind to another culture. Bonsoir.

They put out a live video call in the darkness or something like that...long solo...fantastic...you can watch the guitar playing getting better and better...they are talented and are growing more so every time I see them. This performance is worth watching!
I love Greta Van Fleet! Glad you found out about them. If you're looking to hear some more classic rock vibes with spectacular vocals, exceptional drums and guitar, and blues thrown in, Rival Sons Feral Roots album is probably a recommendation you'll see a lot!
It's unfortunate that people just so happen to get turned on to one of GVF's tunes that sound like Zeppelin first. That said, the more you listen to Greta, know all of their recorded material, then you get to find out how mostly they don't sound like Zeppelin.
That's the fucking true, that's what I say. If u want to find similarities u wilk find them, because they are there, but If u focus in the differences also u will find them. They also have something from rush and black crowes. Soooo
Seen GVF twice live and they put on a damn great gig, their concerts are very diverse in the age range between 20 - 70. My parents are in their 70's and absolutely love these kids because it puts them in a better time, mentally. Can't believe that you're now finding out about them. Want another band to blow your mind "Rival Sons - Pressure & Time" for your next reaction. P.S. Your smile turned me into a sub.
This is awesome...great energy...that guitar groove is off the chain added with those vocals will keep this band rocking for a while...look up the video of Robert plants take on this band
Greta Van Fleet from Frankenmuth Michigan. Got the name from their school music teacher, Gretna Van Fleet. When when I first heard them I thought what the heck is this? Quickly researched. Okay, these guys are on their way up in a hurry. And sure enough they rocketed to stardom. 3 brothers and a drummer. Receiving enormous praise from Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, Elton John, and Robert Plant. Robert Plant saying that the singer reminded him of someone he knew a very long time ago. Embarking on a UK tour in 2019. These kids have good seeds of Rock planted within them, watch them grow.
Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan, formed in 2012. It consists of vocalist Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist Sam Kiszka, and drummer Danny Wagner. They were signed to Lava Records in March 2017 and a month later the band released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising.
Search for the video of RP being interviewed. He says "Gretta Van Fleet IS US when we first started". I get chills every time I hear that song. Makes me feel 16 again, I'm 65 now.

Yay! Welcome aboard. 🛸👽 I will definitely be reacting to more of them! The new RUclips copyright rules are causing major issues, especially for reactors, so I may have to start inserting annoying pauses in my videos. They now get blocked worldwide. Well, some of them do... others do not. Last week I was able to post a video and another reactor tried to post the same video from the same sight on the same day and his was blocked while mine was not. It's confusing and really slows things down but I promise there is one in the works right now. Hopefully you will see it this weekend!

I kind of had the same reaction when I heard them the first time about a year ago. Greta Van Fleet rocks!
Love this band! I got my daughter listening to them and she’s 29! 🤘🏻🤘🏻💙
Good old rock n roll has been missing in action for years. I hope this ignites a spark in their generation and reignites rock n roll. I took it for granted in the 70's
im 66 and a beatle snob ,but thru the years have opened my ears and listented to all [zep] and others ,but now we have greta, very cool
What's scary is these kids are just starting out. They are all under 25 if I'm not mistaken and the three are brothers and their friend is the drummer. Look forward to watching them evolve.
This was the first song they wrote and recorded together. Talent.
You gotta see them live just fantastic. Nice reaction!
Enjoyed your Reaction ! THANKS
I am an Irishman living in the Upper peninsula of Michigan and this band is from Frankenmuth Mi and the vocalist and guitarist are twins and the Bass player is their little brother and drummer is a friend, and when I first heard them I thought the 3 original members of Zeppelin and Jason Bonham recorded new music , Happy Accident....
Holy mackerel! That is not what I expected either. Takes me back to my younger days. I absolutely love it. Like you, I've never heard them before.
So story about them the lead singer and lead guitar player are twins bass player is younger brother drums is one of thier childhood friends
Yayyyy Finally a woman’s reaction ! I fell in love with this band and was hooked ! 52 year old woman hooked !
Absolutely love your response! I completely agree with you, I am thanking music gods!
Spot on reaction, i was amazed too, they aren't just an emulation of Led Zep though , they have the skills and write some great songs.
Bonsoir.
Talented group of whippersnappers!.....roflmao! Totally agree with those saying - YES, finally some real singing, instrument playing and socially focused "young dudes".... 😎
They put out a live video call in the darkness or something like that...long solo...fantastic...you can watch the guitar playing getting better and better...they are talented and are growing more so every time I see them. This performance is worth watching!
I love Greta Van Fleet with all my heart and this postive reaction make me so happy😍😍
I love this band
Love your reaction! regards.
nice to know, that you like this song Sandy. i like them too. they have a bright future in music business.
I love Greta Van Fleet! Glad you found out about them. If you're looking to hear some more classic rock vibes with spectacular vocals, exceptional drums and guitar, and blues thrown in, Rival Sons Feral Roots album is probably a recommendation you'll see a lot!
had to see it again just for her reaction ,love her expressions and surprise
That was priceless. I don't know which I enjoyed most, the awesome song or your reaction.
It's unfortunate that people just so happen to get turned on to one of GVF's tunes that sound like Zeppelin first. That said, the more you listen to Greta, know all of their recorded material, then you get to find out how mostly they don't sound like Zeppelin.
They do tho... Like i get that you get to notice the little differences after a while, but they still sound like them 😂
Don White ah, they do. Pretty much plagiarism. That said they’re very good at it.
Then again, LZ plagiarised everything from the Deep South as well.
I 100% agree with this, they are Blues rock for sure but they are not remade LZ.
That's the fucking true, that's what I say. If u want to find similarities u wilk find them, because they are there, but If u focus in the differences also u will find them.
They also have something from rush and black crowes. Soooo
For real they have their own sound and its sooo good. Even their dad on the harmonica is awesome.
Great review. Like you when I listen to GVF they make me smile.
Hi Sandy. You must watch the live video of lover leaver. It will prove that rock is not dead.Love this band, they are so talented and such nice guys
Saw them in Sydney.Awesome band
This is awesome...great energy...that guitar groove is off the chain added with those vocals will keep this band rocking for a while...look up the video of Robert plants take on this band
Exacly like you I was the first time.i'm hook now !
they are so good !!!! oh my god. Did not hear for years a sound like this !!!!!!!!!
So glad you liked them.. 😊
If Zep had released this song, it would've been one of their most popular. That could be said of many other of GVF songs.
Looking forward to rocking to them for many year🤗
I'm a long time Zep fan and I absolutely love GVF!! BTW,you remind me of that actor Ashley Judd.😎
The rock gods have blessed GVF.. Finally current music worth listening to. Thank you!
My jaw literally DROPPED the first time I heard GVF. Probably one of the best bands right now. AMAZING.
They’ve got so much ENERGY, especially in today’s music world of pre-programmed beats, it’s so refreshing to hear a band that still love to ROCK!!! Rock 🪨 isn’t Dead ☠️
“Highway Tune” is pure EARGASM.
👂 🎼 🎸 🤘
Think I'll sub in Hope's you react to more greta van fleet. The more you listen to them the more you will see these guys are unique an something truly great in the works
The singer and guitar player are twins, the bass player is another brother. They're from Frankenmuth, MI.
So true, GVF: the first band, in I have no idea how long, to bring back the joy of raw rock, with a look to match. Just please keep doing what you’re doing darlings!
there is an interview with Robert Plant where he discusses his opinion of GVF. he likes them.
They are super awesome!!
Love this band
Robert plant has actually heard them and he said they sound do sound like zeppelin when they were first starting, they have evolved quite a bit since this song but are still a great group I hope to see them live someday
You're reaction made me subscribe 😎👍👍♿👍👍🍺🍺Awesome job 👍👍♿👍👍👍 keep up the great work 👍👍♿👍👍👍
I LOVE THIS SONG. I can hear a lot of the who in GVF too....wich is awesome. Great band. cant wait to watch them live
Me too, and they've said the Who and the Yardbirds are 2 of their influences. I would love to hear them do Train Kept A Rollin by The Yardbirds.
I've seen them live couple of months ago here in the Netherlands . ... they are good!
