I firmly believe that Georgia strategically sandbags some games. Case in point: at Kentucky, we sat on our hands until we decided, in the 4th quarter, to win. And when we marched down the field it was too easy.
It's bizarre but it has seemed to appear that way at times in past.
Everyone keeps underestimating UGA bc of the KY game. Dawgs do that every year. They're getting healthy at the perfect time, got a lot of guys coming back on the D-line also Kirby's only loss after a bye week was during his first season. When he has the extra week, he's especially dangerous. Bama is an excellent team and can absolutely win but Kirby will have them boys ready!
Alabama has been pretty vanilla on offense so far. They have playmakers all over the field in Ryan Williams, Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice, Jam Miller and Justice Haynes. Mark it down folks. This is the week we see Coach DeBoer open up the offensive playbook. Its gonna be a hell of a game as a Bama fan I hope that they can pull it out. Roll damn Tide

Ive been kinda nervous since the off-season as a UGA fan. Never heard Kirby just so positive about the team in the past. When i saw him get angry and get coaching with a fire in him Saturday, i knew here we go..... get ready BAMA.

I am a UGA fan and alum; when facing Bama, I assume we lose against them until I see otherwise.
Being an alum doesn’t give your opinion more credibility. Every year is a new team. Nick Saban had our number. I do not give DeBoer any benefit of the doubt. There is no better coach than Kirby in all of football, now that Saban is gone. Kirby will have this team ready and fired up.

Carson Beck is an extremely (I would say too much so) conservative QB who won’t be giving Alabama the ball with a short field to work with
UGA offense is stacked this year. If they don’t start producing like the defense does, it’s simply just kids not imposing their will or talent. Last year we got to a point where we were so hurt, Dillon bell took snaps at RB. If the passing game is off, we have an RB room in which we can put 5 fresh pair of legs in at any point. OLINE just has to step tf up and man handle someone. UGA has the talent to win the natty this year, watching other teams, like yeah some are decent but most progrums aren’t what they have been in the last few years. I expect UGA to come out and look like a completely different team and if they don’t, then we will lose 2-3 games this year because even though the defense is stellar, they won’t be able to bail out the offense every game drive of every game.
First Georgia top 10 road game since this matchup in 2020. Kirby Smart has no top 8 road wins. Ever. Won’t change this week. Bama is the SEC, even when UGA won that random Monday night game, Bama still won the conference.

As a lifelong Alabama fan I really think Kirby and Nick are so much alike it was easier for them to gameplan against one another Kirby having to gameplan against a offense powered mind like Deboer it will give us a slight edge
@@Dj_traum I think the fact that DeBoer is an offensive mind actually plays into the hand of Georgia. Kirby’s defenses shutdown every offensive minded team they have played, for years. Those with great defenses and defensive coaches are the ones that provide a little headache. Ask Josh Heupel and Lane Kiffin how they’ve faired.

I'm not hating on Alabama as much as this is going to sound like it's so, but the plain and simple fact is Alabama hasn't been tested yet and they haven't played anybody this season.. I mean people want to talk about how great Tennessee is and until Saturday their biggest win was against North Carolina State and people seem to forget that a Clemson team that Georgia defeated by 31 points put 54 points on North Carolina State.. I think at the end of the season people are going to realize that Clemson was a pretty good damn team.. while Georgia and Notre Dame were the only two schools in the top 10 at the time that played a ranked opponent in the first game of the season Alabama played Western Kentucky they struggled for the second consecutive season against South Florida and they played a Wisconsin team that has not been relevant in football for over 20 years and defeated a backup quarterback... if Alabama beats Georgia on Saturday I'll give them all the props in the world, but at the moment I'm going to continue to stand by my analysis that Alabama hasn't played anybody yet this season.. and say what you want but Georgia has yet to give up a touchdown this season and is without a doubt the best defensive team that this Alabama team has seen at this point this year, so we'll just see what happens on Saturday.. I think it's going to be very similar to the SEC Championship game where I don't think either one of these teams go over 30 points..

Kirby put 2 spies on Milroe last year and that still didn't stop him!
Milroe was 13/23 192 yards and 29 final rushing yards with sacks included. He won the game rushing twice on the last drive after Georgia held him rushing wise the whole game. And this year they have not played a good team and struggled with south Florida. Georgia struggled with a SEC team in Kentucky. It will be close but I think the Defense of Georgia will get the better. It will come down to UGA offense.
Team that goes all out full 60 minutes wins.🎉

We looked terrible against KY with all those injuries, mainly on the d line. Kirby is the master of motivation and preparation so I'm trusting he has us ready to play! Beck looks lost majority of the time with out bowers and Mckonkey. If they look anything like Kentucky game bama gonna destroy them. But it might be closer than most people expect. But I think bama gets the dub by 14 if Milroe plays anything like he did against Wisconsin. If he looks better bama with ease.

Why does Kirby Smart let Mike Bobo do the same thing on offense over and over again expecting different results? You can't play conservative and win against teams like Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, etc. If you play scared, you going to get beat. Leave it all out on the field with your talented players and mix it up. If you loose, then you shake their hand and sleep like a baby that night. Please don't run the ball up the middle all night on 1st and 2nd down. Also, on defense, you can't sit there and play man to man all night. You have to send a pass rush to pressure the QB. Otherwise, Milroe will pick you apart.

Milroe isn't way better this year. I haven't seen any changes in him from last year. No intermediate passes, still holding the ball too long and still taking unnecessary sacks. I fully expect this game to go like many other previous ones. Defense keeps us in it for awhile, offense does Bobo things with the OLINE getting whipped. Defense is gassed and it’s a double digit free fall. Running game getting nowhere, Bobo continues to run the ball getting nowhere. Airs it out in the 4th to play catch up and it’s effective, but too late.

I believe in Kirby's ability as a coach, and I believe in the players' abilities, but I do not believe in Bobo. I'm sorry, I just don't. For that reason, I think Bama will win. Bobo will make bozo call after bozo call, and it will be the reason we lose. I hope I'm wrong.
On a positive note, losing won't eliminate GA from anything like it did last year. Both GA and Bama will make the playoffs regardless who wins this game, and I think these two teams meet again later on for sure. GA would be that much more determined to prove themselves the rest of season if they lose Saturday. So I'm gonna just hope for a good exciting game, and that everyone stays healthy.

You know, Saban is still an employee of UA; he's got an office at BD stadium and is an advisor. He won't be on the sidelines or calling plays, but he will still be offering advice before (and possibly during) the game. I think you got the score backwards.

Gonna be an outright WAR. Here's to both teams emerging out of the game with good health. We know what this is going to be. We've watched this movie script plenty of times before. And just like the SEC championship game, whoever dominates in the trenches will be the victor.
