Wonderful! Next step is doing this for multiple tracks at once. So if you use Zencastr, say, with one track per speaker, you need to edit more than one track at once. Of course you can squash them together in one track, but that doesn't account for cross-talk, etc., where you'd want to edit each track slightly differently. But... such a big step.
Great video Mike! We're about to venture into video podcasts, but currently do loads of normal podcasts, so using Audition though so having it there would be super handy.
Thanks! Transitioning to video podcasts is exciting. Audition is great for audio and Premiere is there for you when you make that exciting upgrade to audio and video.
Great video. Love this feature! But I think it could be a pain with video podcasts. If we're cutting out certain parts of the audio, it'll more than likely cut out the video at the same place leaving loads of jump cuts. I'd be interested in seeing how some people may go about this!
Text based editing needs to be in Audition. We can already send the file via link to Audition from Premiere, so why not use the transcript to edit the audio better!
Mike.... How come you are not sponsored by @Adobe? I mean, you do a tremendous amount of HIGH VALUE CONTENT CREATION AND marketing for them. As usual, another great video, many thanks!
Yes how long they’re gonna make us wait for a text-based editing feature in Adobe Audition? Why are they still behind of their competitors like Descript? They came up with an AI filler word removal tool in Premiere but what about integrating it to Audition and what’s stopping them? I can’t believe it’s not available already in this year 2024. Adobe, do not leave Audition behind and stay ahead of the game!!!
I feel your frustration! It’s definitely time for Adobe to step up their game with Audition. Let’s hope they listen to the community and bring those features soon!
Yep, text-based editing needs to be the next feature added to Audition. I never did get a response to my request for Adobe Podcast beta. I’m hoping that means a public release of that feature set in some form is planned for the VERY near future. Moving files around from Audition to/from Premiere, with a quick detour through the AI Enhancer applet, is a very poor User Experience and is not consistent with what we’ve come to expect from the Adobe brand.
I agree! Text-based editing would be a fantastic addition to Audition. Hopefully Adobe considers it for future updates. Regarding the Adobe Podcast beta let's stay optimistic that a public release of those features is coming soon. The seamless integration between Audition and Premiere is crucial for a better user experience so I hope they address that too. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼
Yes in AUDITION please!
We want this!
YES INDEED!!! THIS WOULD BE AWESOME IN ADOBE AUDITION!!!
Let’s hope 😇

Indeed, the future is coming!
I'm needing the same functionality of multiple audio source files for people talking at the same time.
I honestly don't understand why they haven't transferred it to Audition yet. Excellent video. Thank you.
I hope they add it soon 🤞
Because Adobe don’t care about it? Audition is the awkward stepchild of the family.
@@martinbaker6532 Many people including myself use that awkward stepchild every day to edit audio for a living though lol
Yes, please add to this feature to Audition!
I completely agree! It would be amazing to see the addition of this feature in Adobe Audition.

Absolutely! I would love to see this feature in Adobe Audition!
Yes please 🙏

Cutting audio in video podcasts may cause jump cuts. Try visuals, b-roll, or smooth transitions to manage it.

Transcript based editing in Audition is a great idea. Bring it on Adobe!

Thanks for the kind words!
You know any plugins that force you to record at the right level without having to adjust the microphone?
Check out Adobe Podcast Mic Check. It’s awesome 😎
