Dude I love all your Jeep videos. You don't say any bullshit and you give genuine advice with links to the products and also with a cost analysis. Please do more content like this; you're like the only guy on RUclips who is actually helpful for Jeep newbies. As always, thank you for the content! and thanks for saving me thousands with the lift kit tip
Thank you so much for being so up front with your content. You’ve helped me so much because I didn’t have anyyy idea about where to start with the mods. Thanks!
Honestly that last 2.5” lift with 35’s is the biggest one I’ve heard. I used to off-road and then I was stuck paying for all these damages and it just stopped making sense considering this is my daily driver. I’m gonna do that for sure!
Great video. I’m looking into buying a 2018 Jeep and your vids help a lot with figuring out cost efficient mods that look bad a**. Thanks, keep up the good work.
I'm doing a .75" coil leveling lift in the front and a 1.25" body lift. I was going to go with 17" rims and 33" tires but now I may do 18" rims and 35" tires.
Overall, nicely done. Each Jeep is different, and is tailored to its driver. For what you do, it’s perfect. Very much like. Only thing I disagree with is the spare reinforcement. It’s not so much the “welds”. The added weight of larger tires and rims can warp the tailgate and make it not close properly. If your spare isn’t much heavier than stock, not a big deal. Some 35’s will add an extra 30 or so pounds. Daily driver on pavement you might not have an issue for a while. But if you’re on the trails and bouncing all that weight, it’ll damage the tailgate and possibly the bolts on the inside of the cabin at the tub. But again, if you’re not bounding down the mountain it can probably wait a while.
Hey Dan. Came across your videos while researching Jeep Wranglers. Really love the JW and all the stuff you can do to them. I realise there are a lot of things to take into consideration with a JW, especially coming from a BMW. Your videos are awesome dude. Thank you :)
with 35s your speed is off 5mph at 70 mph your doing 75 i bought a supchips programmer fixed it from extreme terrian has all kinds of jeep stuff i have a 21 lime green gladiator i bought the same hood cant wait to get it on
To save money I didn’t buy the matching tire for my spare. Granted I’m only running 34s. But the stock BF mud tires looks aggressive and it’s only going to be used in an emergency. It will be good enough to get me to the closest tire shop
Yeah throw a tire protector on there. being it's 34's people will probably assume it's that one on the back haha. Great way to save $400, that's for sure!
1st congrats vet! I served as well. I have a 2020 jeep wrangler unlimited sport JL I don't won't no lift what's you best advice with tires and rims. Rim and tire sizes
Dude, Army here too, AD, 20 years 3 mos. Question...what size rims do you have on your Jeep with your 35" tires? I just bought a 2018 Wrangler Willys JK and rims and tires are next.
If you buy a cheap lift for your jeep just know you’re putting a big risk if you ever go off road or hit a bump, you get what you pay for, most people get coil over kits at the very least because of the already horrible stock suspension, if you’re getting a lift kit for solely the looks and plan to never off road with it (I don’t know why the hell someone would do that, it’s a Jeep) then go cheap, but if you actually want much greater performance and a comfy ride then I highly suggest saving up for a more expensive one
thank you, I've been asking about this and don't get detailed answers, definitely going with the 2.5 lift and checking out your insta: for the parts....going with 35s but I'm thinking 17 or 18 wheels....whatya think? again thank you
Toyo RT's. Not sure how much they were but they're one of the most expensive. I have venom power XT's now and they're almost 1/2 the price. Love them, check them out in my recent jeep vids
@@danrockwell1883 hey man. Love your content. Debating getting the venoms. I really like your set up but my mechanic is pressuring me to do a 3” lift which comes with much more cost and labor. You think it was worth it at the end of the day to do that 2.5” while still fitting 35s
How to make a mall crawler: 101. He's right I'm triggered by the amount of shortcuts taken. Form over function is so goofy and you can easily tell if someone just bought a jeep and slapped these on to look cool. Your jeeps though so don't let me stop you from your super duper sick Rough Country lifts, massive Fuel wheels with rubber band tires, and angry bird grilles.
To each there own….If you’re looking for a daily driving jeep that looks dope, holds its value to the max, and costs way less to build go with mine. If you want to spend more money but have better functions on trails go with yours.
For those of us who just like cars and don't off road his video is perfect. Why waste money on parts that are never going to be utilized? I for one just like switching out cars often and seeing what the communities like. Honestly Jeepers have been the worst in terms of judgement. The other day I was on the forums trying to find some info on getting some more pops from the exhaust and I ran into a thread where a teenager was getting bullied by grown men for asking the exact same question I had. That's just ridiculous in my opinion.
Hi! I'm new to being interested in actually buying a jeep and I'm a bit confused about this "death wobble" people talk about sometimes. Can you shed some light on that for me? Are there modifications you can do to eliminate that?
Rrenea H thanks for the question. I haven’t experienced the death wobble but I guess that can happen at high speeds with big tires especially if your alignment is off. I wouldn’t worry about that too much.
Death wobble can happen on a stock jeep as well. There is alot that can cause it. I had really bad death wobble at high way speeds when I got mine and it was just a loose bolt on the trackbar. But if you have a stock jeep and it has death wobble then something is either bad, going bad, or your out of alignment. Tires could also not be balanced properly. Just wanted to add that in for anyone else that reads this comment.
There is also a recall on the steering box that can solve that issue but I believe they did away with the aluminum steering box and upgraded to steel with the 2021’s.
I have links to many of the parts in the description and if you’re interested follow my Jeep page on insta: Rockwelljeeps
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Thanks for the tips; Im specially interested in the 2.5 lift kit. did you installed by yourself? is it complicated?
Thanks

Dan where is the Pool party video from Up nutrition????
chicolua my phone broke at that party! Lost all the footage 🤦🏻♂️
I think a light bar will complete the front
Cool video 👍
Idk who said anything about welds, but the hinge will sag after awhile
Well 3 years later and no sag. idk if it's worth upgrading for 35's if you're not off roading, maybe 37's
Respect
What kind of fenders are those and what size buddy!!?? Thx
Where did you get your tires from and how much was the full set?

I’m surprise that your speedometer will be off if you lift your Jeep lol, the size of the tire will require programming
👍👍👍
what tires are those? Like i know 35s but what’s the actual tire?
How much including the car?
