I first heard Chuck with Ernie Krivda in a quintet at Baldwin-Wallace College (Near Cleveland) in 1964 - and not together again until Quincy Jone's Lp, Walking In Space.
Ha! There's just no other way to say this: This song kicks ass, every musician on this recording kicks ass, and every solo kicks ass! Absolutely smokin' song/recording, Carlos! Beautiful job!
Carlos, you are talented in so many genres. I have always loved your compositions, and am not surprised when others get the same joy and pleasure that I do. Keep up the good work. I can't get enough.
I'd ask, how the hell does Chuck Findley do that!!!, but I already know the answer. Because he started out with a ton of natural talent, then spent a thousand hours in the woodshed to refine it, then went to school to learn how to further refine it, then spent 50 years as a first call studio guy. Easy, right? Anybody could do it.
Great band and Chuck Findley sounds great as always. The quick camera cuts to various people in the band was really annoying and distracting to the music. Fire your video director.

The trombone soloist is really good
Really nice groove!
Great band, great tune. But the cuts are too quick. Slow down on the shots so that we can see what is going on among these brilliant musicians!
Wow! Chuck is sounding better and better!
you should have heard him at 18, like I did!
¡Sabroso!

Pretty much covers it. A complete professional, and so many people have likely heard him without even realizing it.
Sabroooso!
Findley, es muy bueno
ACE!
Wher was Tom Scott in all of this? I didn't see him at all. The baritone player looked similar to him but that wasnt him either.
He was the tenor sax soloist.

тромбонист -бомба
i had read the credits and see Humberto Gatica who won 17 Grammys

AMEN to a new director or editor.
Yes!
I agree....more sustained footage on a player would be far more enjoyable to watch.
Any live music in San antonio?

Other trumpet legends for me are Fruddy Hubbard, Arturo Sandoval, Derek Watkins, e.a.
If I may, I’ll add Woody Shaw
I didn't know that Chick Corea plays the bass guitar!
