The story behind Raising Canes is interesting. The guy was in college and had to make a business plan for a class. And came up with what the restaurant is now. He got the lowest grade in the class and the banks also wouldn’t lend him money. So he worked 90 hour weeks at an oil refinery to save the money himself. Once he had the money he reno’d a building near LSU in Baton Rouge, LA. On opening day they were so busy, they stayed open til 3:30am. He had a plan and he fricken nailed it. 💜⚜️
Further reinforcing the fact that most 'business school grads' are headasses who wouldn't know how to be successful if it bit them on the dick. I worked for the Sears Parts call center in Arizona for 12 years and the decisions from corporate up in Hoffman Estates were always the stupidest, most pointless wastes of time and money ever, and have definitely contributed to the company going under.
Glad someone told the story. I remember when they opened up the second location south of campus. We were like “this should be all over, it might blow up”. And here we are now. Yep, he nailed it for sure
I can tell you (as a former Cane's worker) that A.) the chicken and non frys (chips) veggies are never frozen, it's kept chilled, but not frozen. The fries (chips) are frozen though. B.) the batter is ONLY eggs, milk, and seasoned wheat flour. C.) I know the ingredients to the secret sauce and their measurements as I had to mix it up most nights I worked. D.) the Lemon-aid is ONLY lemon juice from fresh squeezed lemons, water and sugar. E.) you can get a "BoB" toast, which is butter on both sides. also, you can change out a side for another side of your choice. double fries (chips), or double toast, or double 'slaw, ect. F.) you can get a "Arnold Palmer" tea, which is have sweet tea and half lemon-aid. it's a great drink. (you can add vodka to it for adults for an actual "Arnold Palmer" at home as Cain's doesn't serve alcohol...) G.) you can get it 'extra crispy'. they will batter it, fry it, rebatter it, refry it to make it even more crispy. H.) everything is made within 12 hours of use. the night shift make the sauce for the day shift and the day shift makes the sauce for the night shift. The batter is made at the beginning of each shift and as needed throughout the shifts. The Lemon-aid and coleslaw are made at the beginning of each shift. I.) the kitchen is scrubbed after each shift and the rest of the store is cleaned multiple times a shift. Even the grease traps and fryer vents are scrubbed out. (I spent many a nights either scrubbing down or washing all the tools and utensils and station parts and we didn't leave until everything was spotless) J.) Cane's is heavily involved with community programs including: a yearly 'lemon-aid stand' program for children to help teach them about running a small business, donating to local food banks, and fund raising programs for local schools for various reasons, and many more. I felt that it was a great company to work for while I was there and you'll find that if one is near a high school, lots of the kids will congregate there as a hang out. Ours was also very popular on the nights a football (American style) game was being played at the local school. We usually had to stay open a few hours longer on those nights and we were happy to be the place for everyone to celebrate.

The opening of this video is GREAT, with the news reports and map of the flight!!!! So clever. It’s so fun to see you guys in my world. I was born in LA and lived in LA all my life, and I’ve been to NYC, Florida ( even down to the Keys) and Texas. You picked a great sampling of states for your first visit. I have driven around the whole US twice, been to all but about five states, and have taken Sam's dream drive up the whole west coast. You won’t be disappointed! About Raising Cane's…..they DO have plastic forks for the cole slaw, looks like you missed that part, also when you didn’t like the sweet tea you are welcome to pour it out inside and refill your cup with a different drink, no extra charge! I’m excited to see all your upcoming videos of your USA visit!
Some places don’t do sweet tea well, some let it get to old which tastes nasty, and a lot of places you may need to mix sweet and unsweet to get a reasonable degree of sweetness.
I used to live a block away from a Raisin Cane's, and I went there at least once a week. Perfection every time. I live a good half hour drive away from the nearest one now, but I still make the drive once a month or so. So worth it.
Y'all should try sun tea. I make it in the summer time. I take tea bags and get a big glass container or pitcher. And then you can put in whatever you like. I did a berry tea once with blackberries, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries all put in the water in the pitcher. And then just let it sit in direct sunlight all day. Bring it in the house in the evening and add sugar and out it in the fridge and then you have tea for the week. I also made a citrus one once with oranges, lemons and limes. You can also get flavored tea bags here and use the berry tea bags with the berry tea and citrus tea bags with the citrus tea. Or just plain tea bags either way!
I hadn't realized Raisin' Cane's had expanded that far west to L.A.! It's the wife's and I favorite chicken place due to the sauce, good value, and overall tastiness of the food. We always save the Texas toast for our dessert. Enjoy the USA!

I am definitely going to try my best to travel more because life is unpredictable, I don’t want to get too deep here you never know what can happen the next day, we have to share more moments like these with family. Much love to you guys
it hard to travel as a family as u get older. as american we work too hard, mom work, dad work, kids work, every1 on different schedule and often every in different states thousands miles apart.
Raisin Cains has good chicken, and that sauce is delicious. Enjoyed the food taste reaction video. I'm glad yall liked it. Sometimes, simple is better, especially with menu's. 5 Guys Burgers and Fries is the same way.
I must have had a bad exp, because I didn't understand all the fuss, it was Mid at best imo Nothing had flavor (the sauce did of course, but I didn't like it)!
Sweet tea in the U.S. restaurants is usually excessively sweet. Many people will fill their cup half way with sweet tea then the other half with unsweetened tea to dilute the sugar a little. Adjust ratio of sweet to unsweet tea to your liking.
Alternatively, they could have mixed the tea and lemonade to make an Arnold Palmer drink. Y'know, since they seemed to like the lemonade so much. And Raisin' Cane's usually puts a lot of ice in their lemonades, so it would have been perfect.
Yeah, I can't handle it anymore. Last few times I tried, it was insanely too sweet. There's a specific balance point that I like to hit when I make sweet tea. But I think the unfamiliar taste and the fact that it was cold might've been a bigger contributor to why they didn't like it.. It's like when I tried iced coffee, or go to drink my hot coffee after it's ice cold. The taste and temperature kinda shocks you. "That's not how that's supposed to taste."
As a side note, Canes started in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which is right inbetween Cajun country and New Orleans. Down in South Louisiana, boiled crawfish is really popular and most people dip their crawfish tails in what we call "crawfish dip". Canes sauce is essentially just crawfish dip, as all cajuns know lol
As somebody that grew up with a family that all got along and loved each other, these videos are literally like my guilty pleasure. I love watching these. It reminds me so much of my family growing up.

SO GLAD your trip videos are coming out! As a southerner, and maybe you discovered this, don't get sweet tea anywhere but the south...ever. It's not sweet tea.
Grew up on sweet tea with lemon. Full 4 qt pot of water; 6 tea bags " Lipton " brand / or your favorite. Slow boil/ simmer until very dark brown in color. Let cool - then add juice of 1 full lemon or juice from a bottle pour counting 1, 2, 3 . You should get a slight tang from the lemon when you drink. ( add a little more lemon if needed.) Add 3/4 cup of sugar /gallon of water. Let it cool or put ice in a pitcher( a gallon ). Serve over ice. Sweet tea at a chain restaurant / I usually do half & half sweet / unsweetened or unsweetened tea & lemonade. Hope this helps
Raising Canes was started down the road from me in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Its a really cool story. We love you guys so much and cant wait to see the video!!!!!
@@sallyphillips9175 no it isn’t spicy at all. It’s all about the sauce at Canes. Being from LA we hate Popeyes. It dosnt represent Southern fried chicken anymore.

Cane's is my favorite chicken place, in my town, they are the only place with good customer service! They do a lot of real community service, physical labor stuff for hurricane victims and the like! It's the Only chicken place I recommend ❤ I hope you had a great experience, can't wait to see 😊
You should have tried pouring some of the lemonade into the sweet tea, which would have balanced out the sweetness, or asked for some lemon slices to squeeze fresh lemon juice into your sweet tea.
I have been at Canes, Zaxby's, and Lane's. Cane's and Lane's in Texas and Zaxby's in Arkansas. Zaxby's seems to have more flavor in their chicken batter compared to Cane's or Lane's. Plus Cane's or Lane's don't put the seasoning on their fries. However Lane's sauce does have a more peppery profile in their sauce compared to Cane's or Zaxby's.
I had my first Raising Cane’s meal about 5 weeks ago. It is the tenderest and juiciest chicken I’ve ever had. They stay tender after reheating, too. The Cane’s sauce is incredible! Raising Cane’s totally lives up to the hype.
You guys are awesome. Glad you got to experience canes.I can't eat there anymore because I had my top teeth removed due to my health. I will soon go back there when my implants come. Also I'm impressed you stayed for the hurricane. I live in South East Texas and I live in a mobile home. The last one convinced me to seek better surroundings asap . You guys are awesome and I'm impressed with your family bonding . God speed for you all!!!
So glad you guys made it to the states. Like music, food is a great way to introduce others to different cultures. I love seeing people try new and different things.
@ericalinggonegoro5054 Effect is actually correct. Weather would have an *effect* on their trip. *Affect* would be more appropriate for, say, picking up an accent (,E.G. "he affected a southern accent during the trip to Georgia, to be less conspicuous"). Sooooo... No.
@hurbbleburbles Thank you so much, I honestly was so self-conscious of this, and it was bugging me for a few hours. I honestly just wanted to leave a nice post 😆
I personally mix a 1/2 lemonade, 1/4 unsweet tea and 1/4 sweet tea. makes a good drink. The canes sauce is Mayo, Ketchup, Worcestershire, Salt, pepper, and they have a secret seasoning but you can substitute Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning. It's based off of a Louisiana crawfish dip.
It still makes me chuckle to hear you call a chicken sandwich a "burger". 😁 I started to comment that we don't have Raising Cane's here in Maryland, but I googled their locations and found we actually do -- and there's one coming soon to a town a few miles from my house. Now I can't wait to try it!
I drink sun tea. A clear gallon jar with water and tea bags, sitting in the sun to brew. I started drinking it sweet, but slowly used less and less sugar until I now drink unsweetened tea. I love it unsweetened.
Love Canes, it's all so fresh. Sorry about the bad sweet tea experience. Some people over do the sweet part. I always get half sweet half unsweetened mixed because I love the actual flavor of the tea. Just for future reference lol. Glad you guys had a good time here! Enjoy all of yalls videos
33...8+8+8+9. Glad y'all enjoyed it! I get the Texas toast BOB (butter on both sides). It's so good! Also, they have a house made honey mustard. You have to ask for it.
I live in south Alabama and consider myself a sweet tea connoisseur😂 Canes tea is pretty sweet…sometimes too much! Sometimes I get them to mix it half and half with unsweetened 😊 just discovered your channel and I love your videos!
As a Louisiana native, this video was so exciting to watch! I'm glad you guys enjoyed our place 😁😁😁 I used to go to the original Raising Cane's all the time over here in Baton Rouge when I was I college at LSU. Glad you guys enjoyed it, though you're the first people I have ever seen to dislike the sweet tea 😂 hahaha Cane's is one of my favorite teas. I buy it by the gallon to keep at home. You broke my heart on that one LOL
yeah, most countries that drink a lot of hot tea don't like US iced tea. Its not strong enough and it is too sweet for their palates, especially as the ice melts. You can always switch to lemonade or do a 50% sweet and 50% unsweet mix though, with no ice.
I really hope you guys had a wonderful time here in the States. In the Southern States we have a fast food chain called Zaxby’s. It’s very similar to Raising Canes. I loved the reaction on all of your faces. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I slightly prefer Cane’s chicken, but Zaxby’s is better with everything else. The fries are seasoned, thicker, and 1000% better, and they offer a wider variety of items, including salads (zalads LOL)
The thing I love about Raising Cane's, other than the great quality, the simple menu speeds up the ordering process. If you pull up to the drive through and there's a dozen cars in front of you, you're on your way with your food within a few minutes. Glad you guys got to experience it.
I take my Texas toast rip it in half put some sauce and some coleslaw half of a chicken strip and have got a yummy little slider. For the sweet tea I cut down the sweetness with adding about halfway of unsweetened
We don't have Cane's on the East coast. I am glad y'all really loved it. I also hope your trip to the USA was all you had hoped for and that people were friendly. What a welcome to our country...a hurricane for goodness sake. Thanks for sharing this video. Have a Blessed day.
I hadn't been to Raising Cane's in quite a few years. I went there just a couple of weeks ago. I kind of go through phases between KFC, Chick-fil-A, and others. We get burned out on one and then go back to one of the others. I think Cane's may move up in the rotation again.
Raising Canes also has a honey-mustard ssuce that isnt on the menu but so worth ordering for 35 cents. By far the greatest honey mustard ever. I wish more people knew about it
I have this VERY irrational claim on this family, in my mind. If they don’t like something it’s cause I’d do it differently and I know they’d like my version. I have stress over it! 😂😂😂 I will likely be screaming at the screen in the next few videos! 😅😅😅
Da Fam, it seems that you really enjoyed your time here on this side of the globe. I'm sure there are more videos to come. Thanks for what we've seen so far, and I'm so glad the visit was positive.
Mix the tea with the lemonade. It's called an Arnold Palmer. The first Raising Canes was just off of my Alma Mater LSU's campus in Baton Rouge, LA and one of the original founders lived in my dormitory. Glad y'all enjoyed! Hey @RaisingCanesOneLove this family from New Zealand was in the United States for their first time and your L.A. area restaurants was their first meals and reviews! Doesn't it sound like they could use some Cane's promo merch? 😜 youtube.com/@RaisingCanesOneLove Glad you enjoyed your meal and the U.S.! Hope you get to come back soon...enjoy your videos.
I really enjoy watching your videos, especially when you try new foods. I'm allergic to so many foods that I can't eat most fast food and very little restaurant food, so I enjoy seeing you enjoy (or not!) foods new to you. Occasionally, I will see a video and discover a food or restaurant that I can try. What an amazing adventure your family has had. You and your children will have such lovely memories. Thank you for sharing them with us.
I've been to Raising Cane's twice and I was blown away both times. Probably my new favorite fast food chain. Texas Toast, chicken fingers and fries are all amazing. Bubba Gump Shrimp and Co is still my favorite restaurant chain though.
my go to order is to sub the coleslaw for an extra toast. Then use the two toast as a sandwich with the chicken fingers, fries, and smothered in canes sauce.
I love that one of the first things you guys did in the USA is eat raising canes. This food was a college staple for me and it still holds dear to my heart as some great southern comfort foods. I went to college in Louisiana (not at LSU),where this restaurant started and i proud of how much it has grown across the country
I hope the US was everything you imagined. I also hope everyone was welcoming to y'all.

We love our New Zealand Kin Folks. Hello Y'all from Texas ❤.
hope they visit for some real bbq
I'm so glad you all enjoyed your trip to 🇺🇲❤
Raisin Cains has good chicken, and that sauce is delicious.
@DragonUdo to each thier own. It's subjective. Maybe just a bad experience, maybe just not for you. Either way, I like it.
5 guys secret weapon is their hot dog, highly recommend
@DragonUdo The chicken has no flavor. So bland. It is merely a vehicle for the sauce which is also basic.
first time i tried it, it was greasy and i never went back!
You are the most wholesome family. I love seeing your reactions to all these things. I'm so glad that you showed up in my recommended videos!
Oh yeah, sweet tea is gross. Unsweet is better.
Or add the lemonade to the tea.
@@wayward710 😂😂😂
Yeah, I can't handle it anymore. Last few times I tried, it was insanely too sweet. There's a specific balance point that I like to hit when I make sweet tea.
But I think the unfamiliar taste and the fact that it was cold might've been a bigger contributor to why they didn't like it.. It's like when I tried iced coffee, or go to drink my hot coffee after it's ice cold. The taste and temperature kinda shocks you. "That's not how that's supposed to taste."
I work at canes and we do fresh squeeze the lemon juice every day and make the coleslaw twice a day
Welcome back home to New Zealand! Greetings from Iowa USA.
You guys should've mixed the sweet tea with the lemonade. To make an Arnold Palmer, delicious 😋🤤
As somebody that grew up with a family that all got along and loved each other, these videos are literally like my guilty pleasure. I love watching these. It reminds me so much of my family growing up.
I feel like I've been waiting all my life for this vid haha Y'all did not disappoint! I'm Tongan American, and my family and I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!! Keep 'em coming! lol🫶🏼
I've been watching a few of your videos for the last few days and I'm so impressed of how much fun and exciting it is seeing you guys go to different places. So today I subscribed to your Channel. Thank you so much for doing these videos😊
Glad you guys enjoyed Canes! Your family is AWESOME! Looking forward to all of your USA vids!
What a way to start off your LA experience! Glad you enjoyed, hope your trip was all you hoped for, and more!
Raising Canes was started down the road from me in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Its a really cool story. We love you guys so much and cant wait to see the video!!!!!
There's no Raising Canes near me. Since it was started there, is it spicy like Popeye's?
@@sallyphillips9175 no it isn’t spicy at all. It’s all about the sauce at Canes. Being from LA we hate Popeyes. It dosnt represent Southern fried chicken anymore.
Raising Canes started here in my home state of Louisiana. Just off of the LSU campus. Your welcome!
I love you guys. Keep that same energy. I'm a former US Marine from NYC ( NEW YORK CITY).
I have watched you guys and have seen how much the kids have grown and how much you guys have learned individually and as a family......love ya. Bless up..
Hope u guys went to NY and saw the Big apple. Hope ya loved our Country and I hope u guys enjoyed ur trip.
They did. They went there after LA.
I’ve only had Canes once and it was so good! Glad y’all liked it :)
Hope your family had a good experience here,Love your channel 😊 and enjoy your content.Welcome and come back 😊 as much as you can. 😊
The opening was great editing. I hope you enjoyed your time in the USA.
Raising Cane's motto or slogan is One Love. Which explains the small menu.
I’m from Chattanooga, Tennessee and I have never heard of Cane’s before and I have never seen or been to one of the Cane’s restaurants before
It tastes really almost identical to Zaxby's with a smaller menu. The secret sauce is the exact same as Zax sauce.
Mix the lemonade with the sweet tea. It is called an Arnold Palmer after the golfer. It is a popular drink, and not as sweet.
I had my first Raising Cane’s meal about 5 weeks ago. It is the tenderest and juiciest chicken I’ve ever had. They stay tender after reheating, too. The Cane’s sauce is incredible! Raising Cane’s totally lives up to the hype.
Let’s give this video over 1M plus views New Zealand Family never fails or disappoint for sure I love you 4!💯⭐️🤩❤️❤️❤️
I am watching you guys at 2:40 am and your making me soooooo hungry
You guys are awesome. Glad you got to experience canes.I can't eat there anymore because I had my top teeth removed due to my health. I will soon go back there when my implants come. Also I'm impressed you stayed for the hurricane. I live in South East Texas and I live in a mobile home. The last one convinced me to seek better surroundings asap . You guys are awesome and I'm impressed with your family bonding . God speed for you all!!!
So glad you guys made it to the states. Like music, food is a great way to introduce others to different cultures. I love seeing people try new and different things.
Lord Canes is one of my favorite places to eat as a treat to myself. I hope the weather didn't effect your experience too badly.
Affect*
@ericalinggonegoro5054 Effect is actually correct. Weather would have an *effect* on their trip. *Affect* would be more appropriate for, say, picking up an accent (,E.G. "he affected a southern accent during the trip to Georgia, to be less conspicuous"). Sooooo... No.
@@DrizzleDrizzleNeverDies He perfected a Southern accent.
Did you say side effect?
You won’t be disappointed!
I drink sun tea. A clear gallon jar with water and tea bags, sitting in the sun to brew. I started drinking it sweet, but slowly used less and less sugar until I now drink unsweetened tea. I love it unsweetened.
❤@New Zealand Fam. Canes sounds good and tasty 😋. Have fun!:):)
Raising Canes has the BEST chicken fingers ever! Always fresh and yummy. Glad you tried it as one of your first USA spots.
Happy to have u guy’s visit us here in the USA
I've never ate raising cane's but that was a great review. I'm excited y'all's holiday series has finally started. Great format, intro and outro also.
It soo goood when I was a kid and lived in ky I eat it a lot but since I moved to S.C. I haven’t had it in a while..
Less is more, and always will be. I'm so glad of your thoughts on everything you do!
33...8+8+8+9. Glad y'all enjoyed it! I get the Texas toast BOB (butter on both sides). It's so good! Also, they have a house made honey mustard. You have to ask for it.
LOL at the math correction!
@@mg2023faith Accuracy is paramount. 🤣
I love this video so much. Seeing this beautiful family enjoying their stay in the US and seeing their reactions to our food is priceless to me.
Glad you enjoyed your trip! You tried sweet tea in the wrong place, southern sweat tea in Georgia is soooo good.
Yep, got find the real sweet teas
This is so awesome to watch. Something we have everyday and see you guys enjoy it. Funny
So glad your family enjoyed Raising Canes !
Welcome to America, where everything is possible and the food is great, enjoy your stay and have fun and great shopping at super malls.
I live in south Alabama and consider myself a sweet tea connoisseur😂 Canes tea is pretty sweet…sometimes too much! Sometimes I get them to mix it half and half with unsweetened 😊 just discovered your channel and I love your videos!
I love sweet tea made at home. It really is too sweet as most fast food places. A true sweet tea with a dash of fresh lemon juice is wonderful.
Me too! I used to go to the first one, too, way back when!
yeah, most countries that drink a lot of hot tea don't like US iced tea. Its not strong enough and it is too sweet for their palates, especially as the ice melts. You can always switch to lemonade or do a 50% sweet and 50% unsweet mix though, with no ice.
Years ago I was in Baton Rouge and had Lebanese Iced Tea which was brewed tea, lemonade, rose water, and pine nuts.
@@snowps1 it's such a tiny hole in the wall place haha
@@redwolfexr yeah that's usually how it is haha
We love you guys!!! what an awesome family!! Welcome to the USA!!! enjoy FAM
I really hope you guys had a wonderful time here in the States. In the Southern States we have a fast food chain called Zaxby’s. It’s very similar to Raising Canes. I loved the reaction on all of your faces. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Both Zaxby's and Raising Cane's were founded by employees of the same type of chicken place, Guthries, in Athens, GA.
I slightly prefer Cane’s chicken, but Zaxby’s is better with everything else. The fries are seasoned, thicker, and 1000% better, and they offer a wider variety of items, including salads (zalads LOL)
Half Sweet Tea and half Lemonade is really good. It's called an "Arnold Palmer"
As a born and raised Texan, I'm happy that you realized pretty much instantly that Cane's sauce should be used on everything! 😂
I am waiting for the Whataburger video though. Hopefully they stopped at one.
Being a Texan, I’d still prefer a good cream gravy.
Canes is yucky in my opinion. Can’t believe they stay in business
@@travisrogers7288their sauce saves them. Their chicken is so bland although fresh.
The thing I love about Raising Cane's, other than the great quality, the simple menu speeds up the ordering process. If you pull up to the drive through and there's a dozen cars in front of you, you're on your way with your food within a few minutes. Glad you guys got to experience it.
Today’s my birthday so I actually got Raising Canes for lunch! Glad you guys enjoyed it, even in the midst of a hurricane!🖤 Love from Virginia
Happy birthday man!
You should try Raising Canes next time. I’m sure it’s better.
There's at least two here in GA
I'm in RI, and I feel like there was rumor we were getting one
It's opening in RI in January
We're getting one in South Jersey soon. I'm excited!
There's a whole bunch in Ohio
Raising Cane's is one of my favorite places and I live near a college, so they are usually open pretty late, which is great for my midnight cravings..
You can also mix the Sweet tea with unsweet tea. Find the right balance between sweet and unsweet. Southerners love their sweet tea syrupy!
Da Fam, it seems that you really enjoyed your time here on this side of the globe. I'm sure there are more videos to come. Thanks for what we've seen so far, and I'm so glad the visit was positive.
It's interesting to see that everything that we take for granted, foreigners find them exciting and unique. Stay safe and enjoy your stay!
Great video guys. I live in DFW where Raising Cane’s is everywhere. To the point where it’s become an institution. Amazing food.
That was fun! I look forward to more videos of your trip.
😜 youtube.com/@RaisingCanesOneLove
Glad you enjoyed your meal and the U.S.! Hope you get to come back soon...enjoy your videos.
LOVE your family videos!!
I mix Half Sweet and half unsweet tea--- myself. Just enough sweet to cancel out the unsweet "bitterness".---- Perfect.
I'm from the south and always order my tea 1/2 and 1/2...1/2 unsweet and 1/2 sweet. Makes all the difference.
I hope you guys had more fun than humanly possible
I really enjoy watching your videos, especially when you try new foods. I'm allergic to so many foods that I can't eat most fast food and very little restaurant food, so I enjoy seeing you enjoy (or not!) foods new to you. Occasionally, I will see a video and discover a food or restaurant that I can try. What an amazing adventure your family has had. You and your children will have such lovely memories. Thank you for sharing them with us.
I love ice tea all year, never put sugar in it!! Southern sweet tea is beyond sweet.Enjoy your fantastic vacation here in the USA 🇺🇸
You guys are so wholesome. It would been an honor to meet you guys in LA. From south central LA your always welcome.
Try mixing half lemonade 1/4 sweet tea and a 1/4 unsweetened tea. It’s amazing.
I love that one of the first things you guys did in the USA is eat raising canes. This food was a college staple for me and it still holds dear to my heart as some great southern comfort foods.
I went to college in Louisiana (not at LSU),where this restaurant started and i proud of how much it has grown across the country
Raising Canes is very proud of their lemonade. As for my iced tea, I add sweet tea at like 75/25 just to sweeten it a little.
Realizing you guys made it to the US just saved me from Covid!! I’ve been in bed sick all week and that made me so happy!!
