- Street food of Banaras is popular, there are many varieties, This is day 2 of our Varanasi journey, we explored kachori in Banaras. There after we also explored the Banarasi Paan at a very popular paan shop.
Following are the details of eateries visited by us along with temples we visited during the day.
Banaras Burger Corner
Kachori with Sabji & Jalebi Rs. 30 : This is a popular breakfast of Banaras, food at this shop was average.

Hotel stay: I stayed in old city area.
Hotel Tridev - 2 days, Rs 2600 tariff on dual occupancy.
Hotel Biddha: 4 days. - same tariff as hotel Tridev.
Old City area is crowded by advantage lies that on easy accessibility of temples of Varanasi.
Other option is to stay in Cantt area, though that's far from temples of Varanasi but that area is peaceful with lesser traffic.

Public needs to first sensitized and if required heavily penalized for such things .
Public use of tobacco ( cigarette) ,pan ,gutkha should be banned completely.. asli swach bharat to waha se shuru karna chahiye tha ..

After watching this video i went from America to varanasi for first time to try this paan. No kidding, it is by far the best thing i ate in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish i can have it every day!!!! Katha is like whip cream. I ate three standing there.

I know paan is very famous in vanarasi. In one word I feel in Banaras no-one sleep hungry like beggar. And sir when you are going Bihar😊 and Kashmir

Instead of kashmir valley you can visit jammu division and ladakh division.Both these divisions are relatively safe

The kachoris over there look like puris. For me Kachori is a deep fried savory filled with either Spicy masala made from dal, or Onion. These kachoris look exactly like 'puris' we have here. Furthermore, Kachoris are eaten with chutney/dahi here. And puris are eaten with sabzi like in your videos. I really wonder why same dish has two name that has two different meanings at different places.
It's great to learn about the culture of other plces from these kind of videos. Again a great ep.
It's so much about culture.... Its been ages they call this Kachori in Varanasi.. same thing they call Bedmi poori in old delhi.....
Aapko khata pita dekhkar itni jalan ho rahi thi lekin uske sath sath hi itna pyara video dekhkar dil ko sukoon bhi mila, aur channel subscribe karne se rok nahi paya apne aapko.

Your series are so good that I usually don't remember you or name of your channel, but I remember your journey to the food heaven. Best part is that you combine history, culture and food. Your videos are not only about food but a little bit of tourist information is also there. The info part is not so long that the viewer would feel bored. Harish ji... your videos are very well covered especially for food. but one thing I noticed that you keep asking extra food where ever you go and whatever you eat... that looks very rude in my opinion. And greedy too
but that's ok... there are no free lunches in the world.... i pay them for every food item i have... that may not look good i appreciate but i don't go by the book.. when it comes to paying.... be it taxi drivers.. restaurants, dhaba or just any financial transaction i have with any one... means paying for food or service

(blessed), beautifully covered, sir the way you describe food it comes from heart and we can at times live the moment from your experience . the kachori -puri, is also bedmi puri the black jeera- is famously called as - Kalonji (widely used in North) , the kadu sabji- is known as Brahman bhoj , and so.... sorry couldnt resist adding to this :) thandi, Pan & kurta- looking forward , sir other famous points is- Bhara Lal mirch ka achar- if you can get from home of any of viewers, the baba vishwanath temple lane- as by lanes- shops selling meethi supari- assorted ones ,,,,,,,,,,,,, :)
