Slab built cylinder forms based on tidal landscapes

Here I am in the early stages of making some slab built cylindrical ceramic forms. They are going to be a series of pieces that are inspired by the tidal landscape here in Cornwall. The resulting ceramic pieces are for an art gallery that want to show a body of new work.
Before starting the ceramic pieces I have explored the idea in my sketchbook with a series of quick sketches that explore colour, proportion and shape.
I am using soft slabs here to help achieve a looser finish to pots. The pieces will have engobes, slips and underglaze applied to the surfaces as well as incised and impressed lines.
