Easy Bulky Crochet Poncho

Easy to complete Crochet Poncho.
This pattern uses #5 weight bulky yarn. It works off a repeat of 4 rows to create the poncho. Easily adjusted to create sizes from child to adult sizes. I created this pattern as a fun easy accessory for especially fall days. Although I do find them super warm as an extra later on the much colder days. We love ponchos especially with the kids going from car seats and into stores as putting them in a car seat with a bulky coat doesn't allow them to sit properly in a child's seat, so ponchos are our answer to that dilemma.

Hi. My mom doesn't like holes. I'm making her one and is it possible to just keep doing the tighter double crochets until it's long enough?

It is in a way possible. Just need to be sure to increase the correct number of stitches per row with the substituted stitches.
