What can be more perfect and appealing? Than a Rolex Submariner, eating steak/salad, being outdoors with nature, perfect lake/ fishing, and shooting pictures! Nothing! Great Blog, S.C.!
I couldn't tell which Sub this was as it seems the resolution choice was limited to 360p, glad you mentioned it at the end. I think it looks great on your wrist. I recently saw somebody with smaller wrists rocking what I could only assume was the new Sub because it looked huge on his wrist.
It was just uploaded, so it is still processing. It should be up to 4K resolution eventually, Maybe try revisiting later. I tried a (newer) 114060, but yes, the chunky lugs made it look too big for my wrist.
(1) I really liked the common theme - simplicity perfected - to join the steak/salad and the sub. Conceptually, nothing profound about grilled meat and raw vegetables. Same with a stainless steel case&bracelet and black dial watch. Yet, executing both to perfection is extraordinarily difficult. (2) I agree w/you on the new Tudor line. Love the new BB Burgundy, but just don’t have the use for another weekend watch.
Not at all!! Haven't serviced it yet. It has been working great for 18 years, so I don't feel the need to send it in for service, And I would not like to risk having it overly-polished.
Neat vid. These everyday life kind of videos are a nice change of pace and I especially appreciate the third person perspective. And that 16610 looks perfect on you. Am on the lookout for a 14060 but I'm more and more starting to consider the date version. As for the Tudor BB54 it's absolutely minute. I tried it on yesterday and on my 7.2" wrist it was a definite no-go. Granted your wrists are slimmer it will sit better on you, but it was just too small I thought. Interested to hear your thoughts after you've tried it on.
Either the 16610 or 14060 is a great option. I heard the 14060 might look better on a larger wrist (no date cyclops). I think the BB54 would look fine on my small wrist. I’ll try it on sometime, but I’m not in a big hurry.
I'm glad I happened to pick up a later model pre-ceramic 11610, just before they switched up to the super case/ beefier lugs version. This Fits my smaller wrist better, and looks a little more classic.
@@sc1 I’ve been following you for a while and you have accumulated such an amazing collection. I respectfully disagree. Yes the pre-ceramic looks great on you but so did the ceramic sub you once had. Also, remember the reference is #16610 😉Keep up the good work!!
@@akcoop Fair enough! I just thought the lugs on the 114060 looked too chunky on my small wrist, and the 16610 fits a little better. I would still be open to trying on a 126610, but my current Sub Date is still a keeper for me.

Thanks so much!
Cool vid. The sizzling of the steak is pure ASMR
Awesome. I tried to capture the sizzle on camera as much as possible.
Excellent video, love this style.
Thanks so much!
This is a really great video, and a terrific way to showcase the best Submariner iteration in all her majestic glory! Well done!

The Sub looks beautiful in the light.
🤟
Nice vid. But on the first seasoning bottle there were 10 turns, and on the second there were 12. How am i going to sleep tonight?
Extra black pepper!
That’s an absolute must in a. Collection I love a sub great for any occasion outdoor videos are cool 👏🏻👏🏻
I always seem to come back to it.

Exactly.
Beautiful place.
Have you serviced this submariner? If so, did they polish the watch?

@@sc1 That's a good idea. Why risk it when it's working fine.

Lovely vid!
Is the reference 16610 instead?
yes
@@jasons46 Yes, there is no 11610. Great video as usual.
yes, 16610. my bad.
Very nice
Great vid as always. I think the 11610 sub might be the rarest of them all! 😉

@@sc1 Indeed you have the perfect sub! If you do go with a 12 series sub then I think you should add some more color and go with the Cermit👌🏼
Yeah I have the Sea Dweller 16600 and see no need to get the Black Bay 54.
I don’t think the black bay can surpass anything available from Rolex
Damn my dream watch 😰😩
