5:02 that is Ulthuan, the home continent of the high elves.
12:10 she is insane, how paranoid do you need to be, to think that there are Ratmen under our feet? Ratmen?! Hopefully she finds the help she needs.
13:10 The thing is, the Warhammer fantasy world has two moons, a normal one and a green one (Morrslieb). Morrslieb fully consists of Warpstone/Morrsstone, which is the crystalized form of pure chaos. The Skaven, that obviously dont exist, love this stone. Their money is crafted from it, their technology is fueled with it, their mutants are created with it,...
17:40 Kislev is based on the slavic nations, mostly russia, but they also have the winged Hussars of the Poles and one of their biggest city is named Praag.
22:40 A long long time in the steppes there were many many nomadic tribes. The mongolian tribes are among them. Other would be the Turk tribes or the Huns (it is unclear where exactly they were coming from)
29:39 Ogres are not related to the greenskins, their next relative seems to be the halflings.
31:30 It is more that the maw whispers into their ears to eat more and more, so that they are big and fat, when it can eat them.
32:56 Originally, he rides on a throne which is held up by uncountable Gnoblar (more or less Goblins) slaves.
40:45 The huge ones are no ogres, they are giants, which the ogres enslaved.
42:40 If I recall correctly, the pot was welded on him, when his hands were chopped of.
44:50 The story with the giants is: when the ogres fled from their ancient homeland the came across the mountains of Mourn, where Huge giants with their mammoth herdes reigned. The ogres, hungry as they are, began to slaughter and eat every last one of them, and settled then in these mountains.
50:20 There are Ogres which control fire, the fire bellies are priests of a volcano in the mountains of Mourn, which the ogre began to treat as a minor god. To become a firebelly you need to drink lava, but afterwards you can spew fire and use fire magic.
54:40 Tzeentch is so treachorous, that he will betray himself, if he has the upperhand.
Also: Tzeentch is the god of change, knowledge and magic.
Nurgle is the god of diseases, standing still as well as life and death.
Khorne is the god of War, Fight, Blood and Honor.
Slaanesh is the god of beauty, love, art and pleasure, espacially sm.
Yes, these are the same as the 40k Chaos gods.
58:00 normally a killed demon goes back into the warp, reforms itself in the next few centuries, more or less, and then can enter the mortal realms again.
58:10 They are two completely different universes, but they share the Warp, the chaos gods and some demons. There is a theory, that the warhammer fantasy world is a very very secluded world in the 40k universe.
1:07:00 Behold, Nurgle is there. Sacrifice your soul and being to our beloved father, and, contrary to all these impostor gods, he will give all your love, all your dedication thousandful back to you through his sacred diseases and grant you the ultimate strength to survive even the harshest situation. Behold.
1:11:20 She missed an important part of Kugath: He once was a mere Nurgling, that fell into the pot of Nurgle and became a greater demon this way. I think, he tries to atone for this incident, by creating his many diseases.
1:12:00 Slaanesh existed already, when the Chaos god descended the first time on the Warhammer fantasy world. And as far as I know, Slaanesh doesnt have an origin story.
1:21:56 Sigmar was a chieftain, who united many tribes and ultimately founded the Empire. After his death/disappearance, the citizens of the Empire began to worship him as a god. So he basically ascended to godhood after his death.

-Warhammer Fantasy is the actual Lore Setting
-and yes Fantasy has many other games too

So many questions in this video 😅 I'll try to answer most of them.
    - "what happened to Norway ?"
Norway, Sweden and Finland are all merge into one land, Norsca. people there are human vikings who hunts monsters and worship the chaos gods. not in a become mutated and spawning demon way, but more "subtle" way. they gave offrands to the god in exchange of some favors.
    - "Is that Hawai ?"
It's more like the Atlantide. Ulthuan is the land of the high elves. really rich lands in the middle of the world.
    - "is that the bible ?"
The big book is the rulebook of wharammer fantasy when it was a thing. so many thing in there, lore, rules, artworks ...
    - So, the skaven moon attracting magnet ... yeah it works ans it did worked. skaven are carzy engineer, fighter, ninja and bringer of plague.
    - Albion, the fantasy UK part of the world is populated by things from the celtic mythology. there aren't much about them though.
    - Vampire pirate are like the first pirate of the carribean undead crazyness mixed with ghosts, bats and vampire stuff
    - don't be scared of people opinion about you. we're all nerds, liking nerds stuff and enjoying watching people having a great time getting into what we likes ❤
    - About the miniature game of fantasy, yes it was like 40k and age of sigmar, with collecting, building and painting. but warhammer fantasy games were about "bigger" armies. 40k and age of sigmar looks more like you're controlling few squads who are fighting for accomplishing a precise objective. In fantasy you had more a feeling like you were playing an army fighting to anihilate the other. But except that, it's basically the same type of game.
Games workshop also have the right for the lord of the rings franchise. so they have the LotR miniature wargame on their website and it's also kinda the same type of game.
    - the demon in 40k and fantasy/age of sigmar are the same but but there is a major difference between the 2 univserse. The warp isn't a thing in fantasy. each gads have their demonic plan of existence. So not every living soul is connected to them and can turn to them. the chaos gods grew power from their worshippers just like any other gods. and there a quite some in fantasy.
    - Sigmar is the god of humanity. you can make a parallele with the emperor of 40k kinda, except sigmar is a literral god and "alive".
Can't wait to see you react to all the total war warhammer trailers and more warhammer stuff in general 😘

Love that sigmar is a god, but also "alive". That way there is probably so much interesting facts/lore about his time on "earth".
I really want to get a copy of "the bible" / the rulebook. That would be so cool to own!! :o

"The warp isn't a thing in fantasy"
That is absolutely 100% incorrect. The various demonic planes exist within the warp, Chaos was introduced to the Warhammer world through the collapse of the WARP gates, WARPstone exists.... Pretty accurate on everything else but your Demon/Chaos/Warp understanding is quite inaccurate and misleading.

So you have the same demons in both universes. And even some of the machinery bleeds into fantasy coming from the chaos. Only the mortal followers are obviously different (weapons, armor etc.)

Most of the factions have cultural analogue for somewhere in the real world either in medieval era or early Renaissance. The Empire is obviously the Holy Roman Empire of central Europe. Brettonia is France. The Norse are...the Norse. Kislev is Russia/Poland/Ukraine. Grand Cathay is China. Estalia is Spain. Tilea are the city states of northern Italy. Hell even the Lizardmen have strong Mayan/Aztec vibes to them. Thats not even counting the factions that are generally unplayable and likely not to be because theyre even more on the nose with Ind(India), Nippon(Japan) and Araby.

Also, the first time the Chaos Gods decided to unite their forces, they created a Daemon-Prince, which means a human, that receive the ultimate gift becoming an immortal daemon, but will keep his human mind. His name was Be'lakor (he's in the game too) and he was the most powerful Daemon-Prince that have ever existed as he had powers of all the four Gods... that's why he tried to betray the Gods, instead of leading their armies, he did invaded the world, but ot his own glory, raising monuments to himself and demanding worship from his mortal followers.
So the Chaos Gods were a little pissed off, but they let it slide because he still spread CHaos everywhere, which was what they wanted, but when the Elves created a vortex that basically limit the influence of CHaos in the world and saved the world, Be'lakor was banished in the Chaos Realms with all the other daemons, and there he faced the Chaos Gods.
They forced him to stay in the Chaos Realms forever, except when they wanted him to go in the world, and there, crown himself the Everchosen, the mortal that will lead the chaos armies. Which is like a super huge blow to his ego, the only time he can go in the world, is to crown his successor and serve him as an advisor, he's just a servant of a mere mortal XD

The "Tome" is a rule book, I'd say the eight version the last before the ending of the world and the game.
It's very large because it contains a complete summary of all the lore and major plot points of the settings, a big section of miniatures photos (because GW is first and foremost a company that sell plastic figurines ^^), and another section of rules to play the game. So it's a big book, it was written pretty small but with a lot of pictures too, artworks, figurines, etc... It's not like a novel.
Besides, unless you don't know the lore and want to read about it, you'd only open the book when you need it at the section you need it, it was more an encyclopedia, and an instruction manual to play the game ^^

So there are some real-world comparisons to be made between historical cultures and the factions in Warhammer Fantasy.
The Empire is, by design, a hodgepodge of various European cultures, but primarily it is associated with Germany, the Byzantines, and even a bit of Spain and Portugal thrown in, weirdly enough.
Kislev is Slavic Russia, Grand Cathay is China, Nippon is is Japan, Albion is the British Isles, Bretonnia is France(don't question it), Sylvania is Transylvania/Romania, Nehekara is Egypt, Norsca is Scandinavia, and so on.
The various races also represent various cultures unto themselves, but that is a lengthy topic, with several factions being associated with the old 'barbarian tribes' trope, namely the Orcs, Beastmen, and Ogres, but any time THAT discussion is brought up somebody has to scream about how _'These fantasy races are harmful racist caricatures of ethnic groups and minorities!'_ I mean when was the last time you saw a 10-foot tall morbidly obese monster and think _'Oh yeah. This is totally supposed to be an actual Asian person just because it borrows some Mongolian aesthetics. It's totally not an allegory to the Mongolian hordes under Genghis Khan or the Hun Empire under Attila, both of which scared the fuck out of every major world power at the time and were viewed as monstrous because of it.'_

There's actually two explanations for the Great Maw.
The first is that SOMETHING came down on the meteor that the Dragon Emperor called down onto the Ogre's lands, and that something became the Great Maw.
The other explanation is that the Ogres, wallowing in despair and madness as they were starving to death and resorting to cannibalism, found the hole left by the meteor and, being simple-minded creatures teetering on the brink of total insanity, willed the Great Maw into existence by their collective belief that there was some kind of monster there, constantly gnawing at their minds and threatening to devour them if its hunger was not satiated, and this collective delusion manifested as what was essentially the Chaos God of Hunger, bound to this hole in the earth that the Ogres called The Great Maw.
This is possible because minor Warp entities, like tiny daemons whose sole purpose is to cause milk to curdle as it ages, can be willed into existence by common belief; these are essentially gods in their own right, but they can be hyper-specific in their portfolio and thus extremely weak. Case in point? Slaanesh's portfolio includes the indulgence of gluttony, but none of the 4 primary Chaos Gods have domain over the concept of 'Hunger', so other less powerful gods exist within the Immaterium exist to fill in the role.

Yeah, Slaanesh is cited as the youngest Chaos God, but other than that there's nothing precise about their birth in Warhammer Fantasy, there's no race like the Eldars that are linked to her or anything like that ^^'
Well, there's still Elves, and they still have superior sensations that makes them more easily tempted by Slaanesh, and Slaaneshi daemons usually find elvish souls more palatable than other mortal souls, so there's a link. And notably, N'Kari, the main lord of Slaanesh in Total War Warhammer III hates Elves because they killed him thousands of years ago. But other than that, they're not intimately linked like the Eldars and Slaanesh in 40K ^^

While my favorite faction next to the Empire, the Lizardmen has a more personal vendetta with Chaos they were written as a more mysterious faction of the good guys so they are not as fleshed out as the ones I mentioned earlier.

Sigmar is kinda like the Emperor, except that he really died. He was just a regular tribe chief, at the time where the humans were still barbarians, but he united all the tribes in what is today the Empire, repelled several invasions (like there was a Greenskins invasion, then an undead invasion where he killed Nagash the greatest necromancer who ever un-lived, and then a Chaos invasion, he was busy). Himself worshipped gods, like Ulric the Wolf God, or Taal the God of Nature, and then he died, and humans thought he was so cool they made him a God. And he became one, because it's Warhammer, and when enough people believe in something it happens ^^
That is super important in the sequel game to Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, where Sigmar decided that he will fight Chaos. There's a lot to explain, but basically it's a fourth way battle between the forces of Order that are either devotees of Sigmar, or just people who believe that civilisation is good, the forces of Death, lead by Nagash (Sigmar killed him, but he's better now) who thinks that killing everyone is good because he controls all dead people, Chaos, of course, and Destruction, that are all the people that think that civilisation is not good, Chaos is not good, death is not good, but fighting and destroying is.

She didn't mentionned many daemons of Nurgle, but there's two I partiiculary like. First there's the Plaguebearers that are the real rank and file of the hosts of Nurgle, not the Nurglings, they're originally mortals, unlike all other Daemons, that have contracted a disease known as Nurgle's rot, that fed on their sould and transformed them into daemons.
And their job is to count the creations of their father. So, all day,, on all battlefields, they just sing the names of all the diseases that Nurgle invents, in the effort of countring them, an impossible task as Nurgle invents new strains of disease at each second. They're also known as the tallymen of Nurgle.
The other one is the Beast of Nurgle, which is a sort of gigantic slug, which is very very cheerful and friendly. She's like the nicest thing on Earth, it's a big puppy. A big puppy with the size of a bull, a corrosive slime, and of course spread disease everywhere. So she's literally jumping on any new friend she can find, crushing them under her weight and dissolving their corpses in her slime, and then she'll wonder where all her new friends are, and will go find other friends to play with.
But of course Beasts of Nurgle will begin to think that all these new friends that disappear are not nice, and some could feel anger and ressentment, that will slowly devour them from the inside, until they die of anger. And when they die, they reincarante in the Gardens of Nurgle as a Rot Fly, a malevolent cruel beast ressembling a fly, that will take revenge for all the love she didn't get in her previous life.

It would be amazing if you were to react to some of their songs. Their lyric videos are great to understand the song and its meaning. There music videos are always top quality entertainment and their live show videos are fantastic. If you want to learn about history in a way that gets you hyped and pumped up for more, I can't reccomend them enough.

Warpstone is a glowing green rock and extremely dangerous. Contact with it causes mutations and insanity, but also increases magical ability or gives it to those tho don'e have it. Since Skaven are already mutants and insane, they don't care about the dangers of warpstone and use it as power source for their technology, and their mages snort it like cocaine to bost their magic (and also get high on it).

Another their clan not to be outdone used magnetic beam cannon to pull Morsilleb into the planet, so they can harvest ALL the warpstone. What she referenced is the realm of Aqshi or realm of fire. Basically, there's eight magical realms that really don't matter that much in Warhammer, it's just that most wizards use the energies of these worls to do magic. They're also called the eight winds of magic, because their influence fluctuate on the world like winds. But some people have special magics, like Kislev have Ice magic because they use the magical energies of Kislev itself.
And of course because nothing is good in Warhammer, those magical winds does not just give you super magic powers, they're also a gateway to the Chaos realms, that are also magical realms but where live the four chaos Gods that are common to both universes, and they can cause mutations. And not something like, one more digit, we talk about a third eye, a mouth in your belly, horns, things like that. She mention burning wizards, well most countries will also burn mutants at the stake. Because they're corrupted by Chaos and will most likely help Chaos or so they think ^^
And also magic is super unreliable. In the old rules, each yime you cast a spell, you could provoke some sorts of catastrophe, that could range from just losing your grasp on the winds, to lobotomizing your wizard making him forget his spells, and probably also his name and things like that, but the annoying part was the spells. And sometimes, he could open a gateway to the chaos realm, kill a bunch of his friends and dive headfirst into Chaos, so probably not a great time for him. Or the people around. Or your game if he was the general and main wizard of your army XD
The realms themselves are a lot more important in Age of Sigmar, because that game happens literally in these realms, where literal Gods and dozens of races live and fight to control those magical worlds. Age of Sigmar is epic too XD

The models for Warhammer Fantasy just don't exist anymore. The game is dead, the good looking models had been transferred to the new game, but that's all ^^
But yeah, the new game Age of Sigmar works exactly the same as Warhammer 40K, wich is plastic figurines that will come in parts that need to be build, then painted, then you can play with them. And yeah, it's super expensive, that's like the complaint number 1 of all players since I've started this game like 15 years ago, and probably before that XD
As for the differences between the two, it's honestly not a big factor if it's Age of Sigmar or Warhammer 40K, it's more the age of the miniatures, and the type of army that will have a big impact on the price. There's armies that have mostly old miniatures with some dating from the 2000s and are sold at an almost reasonable price, and there's entirely new armies with super good looking figurines and super high prices ^^
Age of Sigmar is probably even more jarring because it had got a lot of new armies with only new figurines, and in the same time still have a lot of ancient armies that have very few new figurines, so the price contrast can be a lot.
I don't really play anymore, but the prices I've seen, for a beginner format (you chose the size of your army with army points that are like ressources, beginner formats is around 1000 army points) it's often around 200-300€, larger armies will be around 500-700€.
It's not cheap, it's a big investment, and there's also a lot of books that you need to buy that also become quite expensive and don't last as long as the miniatures. Honestly, I love these universes, and I loved playing these games, I mostly stopped because I have no one to play with, but I can't really recommend it to anyone, unless you're really ready to invest a huge amount of time and money before playing your first game ^^'
The best way to begin a hobby like that, is probably to try to find a Games Workshop store, or a local gaming club that organize these sorts of games and watch people playing, maybe ask if you can play a game with the miniatures of someone else, to see if it's really worth it ^^

please react to the compilations of tw warhammer 1,2,3 cinematics so you dont miss one, each trailee has a story/lore, reach to single trailer is hassle to watch for some people, for 4 minute clip, its copyright safe, nice reaction anyway, cheers 🍻

Ok, she actually doesn't know alot about the setting because Kislev WAS a faction in original fantasy but the minis and rules got phased out over the editions, go to "lore crimes" for a better fantasy breakdown.

Kislev is a russia/poland/lithuania/ (shortly slavic faction) Well, riders on bears/horses is of course a reference to the Polish Lithuanian Winged Hussar,This girl throws everyone in one bag and talks about the steppes xD She knows nothing about our culture, didn't even say anything about the Cossack. For typical ppl from usa all slavic ppl = russia

Lol don't worry about being "cancelled", Warhammer is about the most anti-politically-correct fandom you can find. Everything in it is based on stereotypes. Don't believe me, just read the wiki article on Araby, a faction CA has pointedly decided NOT to include in their Total War series, despite having about as much more as Kislev and way more than Cathay, just because of how un-PC it is.
