As an Indian, I'm against the delivery girl. Cause here tipping is not the culture, for a matter fact nobody actually tip.
But I know for a fact that tipping is optional, u can't force someone for it.
The app should say the amount of tip. No tip no volunteer for delivery. No one can demand a tip at all it is understood
Exactly, it tells them how much they will be paid from that order and the tip amount if there is one. Also these app set the tip amount for the order and you can increase or decrease it.
As a fellow non door opener, I must applaud you PSA on not opening them-
If you can't afford a tip, then you can't afford a delivery PERIOD
People don’t have to tip. It’s rude not to but you can’t keep people’s stuff because they don’t tip. That’s not how life works. Sometimes waiters don’t get tip they can’t steal the people’s food. It sucks but that’s how life is.
Well don't order then. A waiter can't take your food back but an Uber can.

Me too I really love it. But you know, sometimes it's kind of hard to work out who is the Karen and who is the innocent person. For example the first clip we're just told he's acting like that for no reason, but there must have been some reason to it. The woman complaining about the car idling also wasn't being that much of a Karen. Laws against car idling make a lot of sense for the environment.

if you’re paying someone to get FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS worth of groceries, you need to tip. without a tip she would’ve made about $10… fine, don’t tip the guy scooping ice cream for you, but if you’re ordering from a delivery app you absolutely NEED to tip.

To her, there was no point of her giving them the groceries because it was not like she was getting paid for all her hard work. I don’t think her returning the groceries is wrong if she’s not even getting paid. And to me, if you can order 40 dollars worth of groceries, then giving her a $20 tip shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Don’t think she needs to lose her job

Just imagine you were in her position. You had to get loads of heavy cans and 40 dollars worth of groceries from the store, carry all that heavy load to your car, drive that car to a house, then load off all the heavy 24 pack cans, all for the person to not even give you a dime for your work. That’s not fair to her because the people just paid the store for the things they bought. They did not pay the girl for all the aforementioned work. To me, she had every right to get mad. If the store was going to give her her salary from the money for the groceries, it would have been different. But her salary IS the tips.
