Hey guys. Just to let you know, Palace Guard have the "Bodyguard" rule, so when Thranduil is still alive they auto pass courage checks.
I played Nick 2 times in tournament, love the man!
The watcher is a nameless thing. Basically a bunch of weird, evil mutants that live deep, deep underground. They have always been around, but it’s unclear how old individual ones are.
Isn’t it just a manifestation of darkness? Not like Ungoliant, but more of ‘what things breed in the dark’ kinda stuff. Nameless things that haven’t been seen or studied, just feared.

Beautiful board and armies - great batrep! Just to clarify the courage test rule for future ref. You only need to pass a courage check of a particular "type" each turn, so you would need to do your courage check to avoid fleeing when broken and then another courage check to charge a model with Terror. You woudn't need to do any subsequent Terror checks that turn though (for example if you had some models involved in a successful Heroic Combat).
the drums allow all units to reroll attacks within 18" the morale is the rule that only applies to goblins.

a break test is seperate to courage checks and thus a break test doesn't count for terror tests
Good strategy for the watcher is to pop him up behind your line of goblins and pull important hero’s through. Tag him with a batswarm and it’s instant death for most heroes
I too love to take at least SOME goblin bows. At the end of the day, it is a dice game. Sometimes strange things happen!

Might want to re-name the title to “Halls of Thranduil” as that’s the faction’s actual name😅 it bothers me when people get this wrong 😭
