Hello, have you ever made a leatehr pickguard for an acoustic guitar? And if so what isyour experince in terms of sound dampening, etc I am trying to figure out if that will work well for acoustic guitars . I see that they make them for electric guitars.

I've asked multiple players and guitarist and it makes very little to no difference they said it's not an issue at all :) and it looks slick haha

Sorry, but not a fan of covering up part of the herringbone. Nice work on the pick guard but in my opinion the herringbone is there to be seen.
