When I did this interview iwth Peter early in 2021, Richard was still alive but it really resonated with me just how enthusiastic Peter was talking about his time working with Dick on Superman.

Richard Donner's contribution to comic book-movies can't be appreciated enough! He took the superman material serious and defended his vision. The outcome is just beautiful to watch and is still as fresh as in 1978. Rest in peace, Mr. Donner!
