    The water trap should be positioned vertically with the glass down and is emptied by pressing the button on the bottom of the glass upwards.

    Since I was one of the "requesters", thank you very much indeed for this video. Makes it all very clear !

      Indeed you were Antoine. This video was a little out of my personal comfort zone as I don’t consider myself an authority on airbrushing. But if any of it is useful, then we’ve succeeded. So thank you for the request.

    Pleased to see another Neo user. The Neo can do things above my skill ability :)

    Thank you so much for this, a great overview on airbrush use. Most tutorials seem to forget a decent amount of viewers are starting from zero knowledge and assume the very basics are already known. Thanks for answering questions in the video that many won't have realised they needed to ask.
    Looking forward to seeing how the Amazon bargain performs.

    Thank you for all of your fantastic videos. You really help put into an easy manageable perspective into the world of model painting using airbrushes. This video alone is a great source of help for me!

    That is absolutely super. Super tips and info. Thank you so much for doing this video. It all helps in giving me the confidence to reach for the airbrush instead of the paintbrush.

    I use a very basic airbrush kit I got from Amazon airbrush with a set of 3 needles (2mm. 3mm and 5 mm) a compressor plus some other goodies £70 all in with thinners, cleaning tub, varnish and a set of 18 Vallejo Air Colour Paints plus Mecha Black Primer I pushed it up to around £120 all in.
    I would suggest starting at a cheaper level learning to use the airbrush and move on from there. I too bought dual action but without a removable cup - Jealous of that one :)
    Some of my friends use the cheaper £20 all in one battery airbrushes and they like them... so I will be interested in your take on them.

      Hi Ben. With a little luck next weeks video will be comparing the cheapest airbrush on Amazon with my current Iwata Neo
      My first airbrush was the cheapest that I could find at the time
      As you gain experience you begin to discover what you need from your kit
      My only worry would be that a cheaper airbrush may not be straightforward to use and put new users off. I know that I found it frustrating
      I intend to try out the mini kits and the battery ones too.

    Extremely useful. I should have liked to see more discussion and advice on the choice of jet size for different purposes.

      Great suggestion! My airbrush doesn't have different nozzle sizes available, but definitely worth looking at for a future video

    Very useful thank you. Reassuring to know I have a similar compressor as yours. I've just not mustered the courage to use it yet. But the more I what you the more I'm determined to try 😁👍

    • @BuntersYard
      @BuntersYard  3 года назад

      The compressor is more than adequate for what we do, as far as I’m concerned. I’m tempted to get the Iwata jet compressor next, but at 3-4 times the price of the one I already have, I can’t see where the extra value and benefits are
      Just practice. Either in a scrap wagon or even just paper. Try different pressures, paints and thinning.
      Good luck 🤞🏻

    I bought an airbrush today. But when I tried spraying some paint and matte varnish onto some wagons I found got an uneven bubbly finish.
    Why was this?

    • @BuntersYard
      @BuntersYard  Год назад

      It could be a couple of reasons. Perhaps the paint was thinned incorrectly or the pressure was a little too high

      @@BuntersYard Ok do you think I over thinned the paint?
      Also I have one with just an on/off button.
      How do I change the pressure?
