Well I've just bought a new bike which is 160kg wet. (Fantic Caballero 500 Rally) Personally I wouldn't go any heavier but it really depends on your ability, strength and fitness. In all honesty a 250 is best on the trails but its nicer to have a bigger bike for the road sections.
I know this was posted in2019 but i have a question. I have looked at the TET map but can't find where you started in West Dean. Any points where you joined the track, road, etc. Cheers
Great to see there are trails like this relatively close as I'm thinking about a bike for this kind of thing. Up to what size do you think would manage comfortably along everything you did before the bike would feel too big, 250, 400, 600? Thanks
