Would be weird if Ninja Gaiden killed it, since they are both very different games. The only thing they have in common is that you play as a ninja. But in Ninja Gaiden, you go around hacking, slashing, jumping and dodging while you rush the enemy head-on and in Tenchu, it's all about sneaking around, using the environment and planning which items to bring to help you make your way to the end unseen. Very different game styles. But yes, I do agree with Tenchu deserving another chance. It was a decently strong game once upon a time. Released a few stinkers as well, but devs have brought games with less potential back to life (or tried to, anyway), so why not this one as well?

And then to get the direct sequel The Lost Age which I feel expanded and improved on a lot of things from the first game for Christmas a year or so later only further solidified my love for this series. While I would have been content to leave the series there considering it pretty much wrapped up the story, years later (something like 8 years or so) we finally got an announcement about a new game for the 3DS which had me absolutely THRILLED. Got it day 1 and... while not an absolutely terrible game, it certainly failed in a lot of the places the previous games, particularly the second installment, excelled. The updated graphics were beautiful, and some of the new battle mechanics and lore was great, but the story was a bit lackluster and unfocused, the game more or less held your hand throughout the entire thing, they shoehorned in way too many characters that got little to no screen time or character development (not that the GS series had deep, impactful characters to begin with, but we got to spend enough time with the characters from the first 2 games to care for and appreciate them; not so with the latter half of the party in Dark Dawn), the land and the lore that they introduced made no sense and didn't connect much with what was established in the previous game, and the most egregious error of all was the way the game left off on a massive cliff hanger. The story may not have been the best, but it still had a lot of interesting elements that could have been explored more in another game... which there has been no word on in going on 10 years now. It would seem awfully strange to suddenly pick up where the last game left off after all this time. But if they were to do, I dunno, remasters of the first 2 games and re-release the 3rd game on the Switch, possibly remastered and polished up a bit to reignite interest in the series, then perhaps a 4th game in the series could very well happen. The developers had even said the first 2 games were intended to be more of a prologue to the actual series story anyway. But seeing as how Camelot hasn't been doing much outside of Mario sports games or whatever (if they even still exist now), I feel like Golden Sun will likely continue only to live on through character cameos in Smash Bros. games as assist trophies. :(

I miss the Conflict Desert storm series. 3rd person shooter war games with 4 player co op. Each character had their own special skills. The quality was poor, but the gameplay with friends was so fun. They released a horrible 360 game that turned it into a FPS and lost all its magic

I've given up on the idea that THQ Nordic might even just put out a remaster of Time Splitters: Future Perfect that keeps the game intact. Split-screen multiplayer of the TimeSplitters games (and Goldeneye and Perfect Dark) was an absolutely core part of my enjoyment at uni, and I can see THQ ditching it in favour of all-online multiplayer. Great for the people who want that but not so much for those of us who want to sit in the same room as our friends again screaming obscenities while they, playing as a large fish with a top hat and smaller fish for arms and hands, kill you, a gingerbread man. I can only hope THQ prove me wrong. I'll take a new game but what I really want is a remastered Future Perfect.

Speaking of stealth series, am I the only one who'd kill for a new Tenchu? It's been like twelve years, and the last few weren't great compared to earlier entries like Fatal Shadows and Wrath of Heaven, so if nothing else the series at least deserves one last hurrah. Honestly, I'd give the series to Klei, and have them expand on what they did in their own stealth-platformer Mark of the Ninja...
Sega also has Vectorman, Ristar, and Gunstar Heroes, for a couple more.
never gon happen but a new vectorman would smack
We need project gotham racing, blinx, driver, *armed and dangerous", midnight club and twisted metal
Resistance 2 had some really fun online coop modes, and the third game was excellent. The latter was one of the few games I played on my 3d tv while that was the fad, and it was very well done. Unfortunately Sony killed the franchise dead in the water due to lackluster sales.
You guys deserve so much more recognition. You have 100k subs, almost 9k views on just this video and only a little more than 500 likes... wtf (as of 12 hours after posting). If you watch it and like it just click that stupid button, people. Its not hard. Keep up the great work.
Ultima. It was the best RPG series on home computers during the 80s and 90s. At some point the developer Origin Systems got bought by EA and... well... I guess they just didn't care anymore.
Dino Crisis 3.... Please
Imagine Splinter Cell in VR. 😱
That's coming if you're not being sarcastic
@@VGBish I did not know that. 😐 I just thought it would make an awesome VR game and somebody listened in the past. 🥳
No thanks. Give me a sequel that is Chaos Theory on steroids instead.
Maybe it died at the right time, maybe I’m just hoping for some remakes, but more Sly Cooper pleaseeee, That game slaps
I would of wished for some underrated classics like fur fighters or blink the cat.
Suikoden...Sly Cooper...Tenchu...Dino Crisis...Legacy of Kain...FF Tactics... There are just too many...
I would love to see the GameCube game Killer7 brought back and given the chance to play it again.
It is available on Steam/pc.
