Wonderful video! Very helpful for my planning when I visit the area shortly with my 11 year old Grandson.

Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed the video. If your grandson is up for the big walk around the base of Uluru, we'd recommend the experience so you can say you've done it! :-) If you're concerned about the length of it, there is a segway tour around half of the base of Uluru if you don't want to walk - it's a guided tour so you also get helpful information from the local guides. Or you can hire bicycles and ride all the way around. There are also other experiences at Uluru we didn't do due to having to budget for a family of four, but they may be of interest to you. You can do camel tours at the Ayers Rock Resort which overlook Uluru (we chose to do camel tours in Alice Springs as it was cheaper there). There is also a night drone show with hundreds of drones forming images in the night sky - it's pretty pricey though! But something unique to see.
