      @Woods-off-grid 12 дней назад

      Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed the video. If your grandson is up for the big walk around the base of Uluru, we'd recommend the experience so you can say you've done it! :-) If you're concerned about the length of it, there is a segway tour around half of the base of Uluru if you don't want to walk - it's a guided tour so you also get helpful information from the local guides. Or you can hire bicycles and ride all the way around. There are also other experiences at Uluru we didn't do due to having to budget for a family of four, but they may be of interest to you. You can do camel tours at the Ayers Rock Resort which overlook Uluru (we chose to do camel tours in Alice Springs as it was cheaper there). There is also a night drone show with hundreds of drones forming images in the night sky - it's pretty pricey though! But something unique to see.

    • @Woods-off-grid
      @Woods-off-grid Месяц назад

      @Mick_4591 thanks for your comment! We apologise that wind noise is sometimes audible. Most of our videos are shot using a GoPro which doesn't have any attachments that can help reduce wind noise. Often times, the wind was not very noticeable for us walking around and we only become aware it was there when we are video editing. We are amateur videographers and simply enjoy sharing our adventures with others. We hope you're still able to enjoy all the wonderful parts of Australia we share in our videos, even when background noises can sometimes be heard 😊

    Adelaide - built with slave money as the capital of the "free" state. Do the Westminster parliament math - Slavery Abolition Act 1833 followed by South Australia Act 1834. The compensation, in 1833, of British slaveholders was almost £17 billion in current money. They had to find some new land and slaves (convicts) somewhere.... Please, explain that to your fine children.
