I hiked up to Columbine Lake last year. Man, seems like a hike-a-bike to the top would suck. Props to you guys for the effort. We might take a truck up Ophir and then cut over on the Ruby Drainage trail to Columbine to save on some uphill riding. I believe it connects in at 3:06 on your video. I'd be interested to know if you guys have ridden down Boulder Gulch in Silverton. I hear that's a hefty hike-a-bike after a shuttle ride.

Yeah that hike up there was lengthy to say the least. We stopped pedaling and started hiking about 30ft in to our 3 mile journey. The descent was fun but the hike was soul crushing. We definitely had BG on our list but they said there were a bunch of downed trees so we're saving it for this year. Engine Creek & Engineer Mountain were nonstop tree trimming affairs and we didn't want to repeat that experience on BG.
