Surprised My Boyfriend With a Scavenger Hunt Proposal Thru Seattle!

- On May 10, 2016, I met Christopher (my now fiancé!) on the dating site OkCupid while he was visiting his brother in Los Angeles where I lived. We connected, but he was flying back to Seattle a few hours later so we didn’t get to meet in person. I had never been to Seattle, nor did I have any plans to go. We had been talking for about a week when I received a job proposal for a project, of all places, in Seattle. The rest is history.
On December 30, 2018, I proposed to Christopher in Seattle. I knew it had to be a game because he lives and breathes games, and I also knew we needed our friends and family involved. I love planning surprises and what day should be more special and memorable than when you’re being proposed to? : )
Thank you to all of our friends and family for traveling near and far for this special occasion, and to all of those involved in orchestrating this plan.
Also, big thank you to my videographer friends David Albright, Catalina Rodriguez, and Peregrine Church for filming this very special day. As well as Amber for being an excellent LA driver and parking anywhere possible, and Matthew for being a great backseat cinematographer.
And thank you to Seattle and the weather gods for providing us sun, when it rained for the previous 5 days straight.

I guess love is not only for a man and a woman. Love is for everyone to share. For if it’s only for a man and a woman, we won’t see this things happening. Wherein a man and another man can have strong feelings of love for each other. So overall, we shouldn’t criticise them because their as normal as anyone when love is concerned... love is magical that anyone can feel it. Congratulations to both of you... we should respect other people’s feelings whether their not the couple we want them to be.

@@bradbiles952 everyone i needed involved in this had very weird schedules at the time. Everyone had full time school, work, and internship. Also gary always wanted something more intimate. The other way i proposed was beautiful. First we had breakfast at this cute spot. Then We did a 2 player escape the room sincw he loved puzzles. It was our first time winning an escape the room and we did it in record breaking time. We then we to my fav place in the city. It was snowing as well so it added to the romance. I took him to bethesda terrance and proposed to him there. (I had a photographer follow us). He was shocked. Then at home he was greeted with rose petals on the ground leading to the bed. But before that he saw in the dining area his fav food with lit candle on the table (thanks to my cousin who had an extra set of keys to go when there when i text him). So yea ... didnt mean to tell the whole story but here you go lol.

OMG. You guys are the cutest gay couple I have ever seen. You guys look so happy together and I'm happy for you too. I've still got about 2 years before I even think that far ahead into my future but I have a feeling that you guys will make it a long ways ahead. There will be fights but that's a relationship.
