This is by far the best idea I've heard here, I've been saying it ever since Namco/Bandai revealed that the heat mechanic activates automatically...I really hope that is changed to manual activation, there are people who will definitely want to conserve their heat to perform guaranteed kill combos, or help them make come-backs, rather than have it used automatically on one of their more frequently used moves...
I think it's more because Marduk does Vale Tudo. Which has been at the roots of MMA as a sport yes, but not the MMA itself. Vale Tudo basically means "Do what you want" if I'm correct in the great lines, there are only 3 rules to follow. Not finger in the eyes, no hit to the spine and no penetration in any body hole (I'm not kidding, that's legit the full rule set). Meaning that Marduk indeed is a Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) but he's mixing shear force moves (because he's a strong guy) with MMA mounting techniques. I don't know about Azucena, but Paul also is a Mixed Martial Artist, just that it's much more based on Judo (and Karaté to an extent) than many different martial arts. On a greater extent, Bob is a Mixed Martial Artist doing Karaté (Freestyle Karaté, which is based on Tricking Karaté, explaining the Mishima traits but pimped with cool movement). So yeah, I understand the reasoning behind Marduk, which really reminds of the greatest MMA fighters when he pokes and mounts. But without being a true MMA fighter since he doesn't follow the same rules.

@@IRONFIST-oo8yh that's true bro, but it makes sense. DLC characters tend to either be completely new to the franchise or are very popular but not the most popular. That way you don't upset most of the player base when they are behind a pay wall but you have enough people that like the character and are willing to pay for them to make that decision make sense. Kuni fits that category.

But for me I'm no longer interested this game already because of my mains are not coming back thanks to the leak in the reddit. 4chan go ef yourself for ruining my feelings. Now I know my main Miguel, lee chaolan and others won't return. I'm more into street fighter 6 storyline, guilty gear strive season pass 3 got third main johnny is back. Mortal Kombat 1 I'm happy I got my johnny cage return along reptile and sub zero bi han version. I may have regret cancelled my pre order on Tekken 8 because of my mains not there. However I got my refund money and used it to buy mortal Kombat 1 deluxe edition which I have no regrets. As for now, king of fighters 15 will be in my list soon

LmO you can choose to activate it, you have to hold forward after you do a heat engaging move. If you don’t hold forward you won’t do it
Is this true? Because from how it was explained, once you do a move that have heat attached to it AKA "Heat Engager" you automatically go into heat...
