- This video is the story of 3 w221 S-class cars which belongs to 3 different generations in the same house. I have tried to give a purchase cost and a cost to fix these cars to their current glory. Also an insight into owning a V12 Biturbo vehicle.
This was such a beautiful video! The idea of owning a W221, despite its' problems, does sound enticing to me, thanks to this video!
This exactly is the kinda content I was anticipating from RUclips,and making me realise the fact that these luxobarges aren't exactly money pits but an experience that can be precoured for a lot less than what they used to command brand new.

I am a proud owner of a W221 S550 as well and just love her! Own a X166 GL550 as well but my S Class tops everything in this world.

Just seeing this video now. It’s amazing how you are able to work on this but that’s due to your good knowledge. Wish we had someone like that here in Kerala since I absolutely love this generation car as it was unique but not confident on a good place to maintain it.

Greetings from the states! Beautiful cars with awesome stories! Story with the first one is cool and is how I’ve gotten my first few cars in life haha. Volvo 850 t5 wagon for my first car and i got it for 300 US dollars and it needed a head gasket. Fixed it and boom I have a running and driving car haha.
Second car was my first Mercedes (1986 560sec) and oh man it introduced me into the world of Mercedes. But that one I got for $450 and spent 60 and it was running haha.
And similar story with the one I have now. My 1989 560sec my grandpa bought it to sell for more later but he decided to keep it. He was a Mercedes mechanic at a Mercedes dealership in the 80’s and 90’s when the w126 came out new. And he finally owned one but long story short he handed it down to me so now that’s the one I drive around. So now I’m a Mercedes boy and I’m never getting out of the Mercedes world lol. I shall own many more eventually

Hello sir. It is a great video for motorheads. I like the fact that you share everything honestly. Just wanted to know that these days the cars like 7series, jaguar xjl, audi a8 etc that too like 2012-13 models are available at the price of a civic. Obviously people are quite interested in buying them but aren't aware of the maintenance and other challenges? kindly make a specific video on that too.

It was a dream car as a kid and shares its engine with the Pagani Zonda. Life is so relaxing in cars like these and the power on tap is monstrous.

Great cars and great video. Only thing. Please don’t place a child seat on the front passenger. The S class deploys 18 airbags on each seat and in case of a collision, the child will be pushed off into the driver and lead to multiple injuries.

They were all spec'ed out differently yes some cars had night vision even back from 2007!

Right now I have a VW vento TDI 2012, which I find quite boring. What is your suggestion? Should I sell the vento and buy a 320d? Or should I mod the vento?
Would be a great upgrade to buy a bmw 320d, go ahead sell the vento !! Cost of maintenance is not much of a difference between the two! All you need to do is identify a good mechanic and your sorted! Let me know if you have any more questions! Cheers
