Thurl Ravenscroft is like so crazy to me bc hes in my opinion the best basso profundo ever to be in the mainstream for one reason or another like listen to the vibrato on his low C the timbre and breadth of his voice genuinely blows me away im kind of sad hes not more well known considering all that hes been a part of
Good job on getting the "That's What Friends Are For" singer correctly. Most people think it's Thurl. George has some really good songs, really beautiful voice.
It was Bill Lee not George, Bill Lee did it because he was a trained bass singer, some say because george wasn't available who knows. But it was bill lee from Mellomen and when you look up Bill lee mellomen you find the song right there 💀💀
Great Variety!! Awesome hearing and comparing tenor, baritone, bass baritone ,bass and basso profondo timbres on that note. Love the one singer per note idea.
"George Sanders" It was Bill Lee a guy part of Mellomen since he was a trained bass singer just so y'know for That's what friends are for. When you look up Bill lee mellomen it the song pops up so y'know
@Steven Criscione Yeah, Miller's cool as well. You can hear vibrato on A1 by Thurl in the final A1 of Grim Grinning ghosts at 5:27 inruclips.net/video/XSaqSVi--Ms/видео.html.
Could you use Alatorre's G1 hereruclips.net/video/M9felJa60SM/видео.html after 1:59 and also his Ab1/ G#1 after 6 :30 in ruclips.net/video/qcjXwGKZ3ys/видео.html .And Jyrki Korhonen's Contra F in ruclips.net/video/EmL9a4S0sss/видео.html after 2:10. Also, though this probably isnt the case, I hope that Christopher Purves is there atleast in one if your lists down to A1. Crazy that a bass baritone like him , who is sometimes considered a baritone , can project contra octave notes. Also Harry Shearer's G#1 in this ruclips.net/video/qZesaMj4Iis/видео.html after 2:00. Yep, Ned Flanders got a LOW voice.
@@matthewdockray9745 Yeah , it could either be his voice taken down an octave . However I think it could be some actual oktavist not Lee ,cause I hear actual struggle on the F1, and for sure Lee doesnt struggle on F2's.
I’m thinking about doing a video on notes E2-C2 at some point cuz I’ve found a bunch more good clips, especially from non-bass singers too which I think is quite interesting. I’m also planning on doing a video on Hannah Reid’s vocal range, but I’m doing exams at uni atm so it’ll be a few weeks before any more videos are out
@@matthewdockray9745 oh okay, can you reccomend me the technically best c#2 you know? It's for my video of C# for my octaves serie, i was thinking about Mikhail Zlatopolski or Kurt Moll, for C#1 I chose Steve Cross

0:17 is probably one of my favorite C2s ever, it’s SOOO resonant and blends with the choir so well
So loud also
4:43 it’s the guy who sang “you’re a mean one, mr. grinch”!
Yes
and tony the tiger
I always thought that J.K. Simmons was some sort of bass/bass-baritone when I heard his speaking voice. That was a really nice C2.

1:25 oh nice, glad to see this one in a compilation
And Chris Isaak as well :)
One of my favorite is from 4:42 Really good resonance on that.
The people who worked with him told that he could put vibrato on contra octave notes.

I prefer Saruman but yeah he actually sings good
@@matthewdockray9745 He was actually gonna be an operatic singer .

Reuben Thomas I cant work out where it bottoms out but I’m not sure it’s organically him. His low range finishes around Bb1

Yo Jk Simmons low key has a really deep voice. Like he sounds gigantic but he doesn’t speak that low most often the time.
nice choice of clips!
clicked here faster than james charles could say hi sisters
Nice one Scraggs
believe it or not a have a "natural female voice" I'm 20 and I hit C2 with subharmonics :)
4:44 oktavist
1:50 isn't Corey Taylor singing, it's their original singer Anders Colsefini
Oh
