There are a lot of houses in Tahoe, mostly the older ones, that have a door to the outside from the second story. No power and for weeks after, Ohio had snowplow-made snow drifts 20-30 feet high. Weather was too cold for the snow to melt so it just stayed where the plows put it. @@xtc996 You're right, and that's why bay area folks are dealing with some of the highest crime rates in the country just in the last 2 years.
Because they're mostly liberal lemmings that just follow their leaders being peelosi and her corrupt nephew.
They think nothing can happen to them until they're actually caught up in a catastrophe, for which they'll still deny because they knew they were dumb and made bad choices.

Drive south to Las Vegas keep going until you get to I-40. It goes by the southern end of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and should be snow free. You may hit a patch of snow in the Tehachapi pass but that a low one and shouldn't be much of an obstacle. It will take about a day to round the Sierras.
