Rania Zuri - The LiTEArary Society

Rania Zuri, founder of The LiTEArary Society, shares her activist journey in this IYH Featured Story. She shares how her grandfather inspired her to drive change in her community, combining her passion for reading with her desire to help end book deserts, one child at a time.
Rania and The LiTEArary Society raise funds and gather donations from children’s book authors and book publishers like Scholastic. They have donated more than $200,000 of new books to more than 21,000 children in Head Start programs and the program is still growing.
