Carlos just had to learn that he COULDN’T be everything for TK. Even though he wanted to be so badly, he couldn’t. He doesn’t have the experience with substances that his sponsor does. That is what TK needs sometimes as an addict. He needs to talk to someone who has been through it. Carlos doesn’t quite get that. He thinks that he just isn’t enough for him. But that’s not how it works. TK just needs more help with his sobriety, but the support of Carlos is still massively important to him.

The people at the AA meetings are the ones who gone where you supposedly go and wanna talk to about your opioids problem.
But not at 3 in the morning!
They are available 24/7 and sometimes you need to just talk to someone who knows what you’re going through to prevent you from going over the edge.
That is why you have a sponsor. They are the ones you can call anytime
