Assalam Alaykum. I get the tactic lol 😅. Azhar is the Islamic center of knowledge in Egypt not more than that. Meaning there are NO muslims who label themselves Azhari Muslims. But we have muslims who name them as Deobandi or Barelvi muslims. This is a tactic we can see through it. Deobandi in terms of a location, is a school that is upon Maturid theology and in Fiqh are Hanafis. Deobandi is a location, school, and a movement. Same thing applied with Barelvi, there are muslims who label themselves Barelvi to distinguish themselves from other muslims such as Deobandi or Salafi. So this approach causes a confusion now.
Quran Chapter 23, Verse 53: "But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing." Sahih International The truth is that the Aqeeda of most of the Muslims from these places is based on innovation and shirk. This is why they are identified as a SECT, who have deviated from the way of the Prophet(pbuh). If one visits the mosques that they have established, you will find some of their actions to be innovations and shirk. It is the responsibility of TRUTHFUL Scholars to warn against these Sects in order to protect ignorant Muslims from being led astray by them.
Salam and love for Sheikh. Sheikh db should had clearly stated that whether it is safe to take fatwa from daruliftas that are in line with darulifta deoband or not. That would had been more helpful for me. If he doesn't consider it to be safe to take fatwa from darulifta deoband without himself assessing each and every fatwa they give, I am helpless to understand how the need of Ummah will be fulfilled regarding Shariah rulings. If he had said that: although their are few issues that i am in disagreement with darulifta deoband, but in general i consider it safe to take fatawa from them in daily matters. That would had been more practical and helpful response. When people want clarifications about deoband etc, they don't mean that they want to idolize them or worship them (na auzubillah min dhalik), they just want to be sure that whether the rulings they are taking from those darulifta are generally in line with Sunnah or not. Otherwise when acting upon shariah, laymen through out the world, should first get that ruling assessed from sheikh usman, or directly ask him and than act upon it. Everyone can understand that's not possible. Also everyone can understand that it is not possible to say anything about everlasting credibility of any living sheikh or scholar in the world, as there is always a possibility of mistakes from human beings. Again I love Sheikh amd the work he is doing alhamdulillah ❤

Asslamu Alaikum Brothers Sheikh Uthman and Karim Abu Zaid, mashallah, seeing you two brothers together on any topic works as a powerful magnet for me to get clinged onto. I am a miniscule knowledge seeker of Islam so whatever I state may not be correct; saying so - in my opinion, any organization in the field of Islam has adherences to some basic objectives and some of which may not comply with the fundamentals of Islam. Therefore when we mention Deobond, Azhar or Madina or any likewise (location), we have to look into their basic objectives very carefully to characterize them; we are not talking about the people concerned with these organizations because some of them may be pure and some may not; we are talking about the organization itself; as such we can assume that the products of an organization is generally trustworthy and on the other hand the product of an organization may be questionable - that's where an organization (which you refer to as "Location") matters. An Example: Dr. Muhammad Khalil Harras (rahimahullaah) originally a Sufi Aalim at Al Azhar was advised to write a paper criticising the works of Ibn Taimiyyah and when Khalil Harras delved into the works of Ibn Taimiyyah he changed 180 degree and wrote one of the best books on Ibn Taimiyyah and he reverted to a Salafi Aalim. This serves an example of the "Objectives" of an Islamic Organization (Location).

Denying the intercession of Prophets (Alayhum salam) after their Dhahiri passing away. This is a Bidah innovated by Ibn Taymiyyah and Wahhabis till today are blindly following him. 4. Applying Ayahs revealed for Kufaar/Idols on Anbiya/Awliya is a Bidah which leads Wahhabism to kufr. Ibn Abdul Wahhab al Najdi al Kharji was at forefront in using verses revealed for Kufaar and applying them on Muslims (this made him 100% Khariji) 5. Raising hands quickly like tails of horses and then putting them way above chest i.e. near the neck during prayer although even in Shafi'i school the hands should be tied below the chest. 6. The Adhaan for Tahajjud (i.e. nafl prayer) 7. Most of the time offering prayer without covering the head (except if there is some urgency and one is not making habbit of it) 8. The voice of Imam being audible as he speaks over the mic but still another person repeating the wording in some other row behind i.e. during prayer (there is dispute over this one though, but Its bidah in my books) 9. Making dua in Witr Salaat loudly and people behind saying Ameen Ameen. 14. Considering 3 divorces in a go as 1 divorce and still continuing Zina with their wives. 15. Not offering Qadha of Missed prayers, again blind imitation of people like Ibn Taymiyyah Mujasmi. 16. Considering Prophet (Peace be upon him) as an ordinary human being like us, he has died, he cannot hear, he cannot respond (Naudhobiillah). The Wahhabis deny the Sahih hadiths of Bukhari where Prophet said : Lastu Mithlukum (NONE OF YOU IS LIKE ME)"
Deobandis are basically blasphemous Wahhabis who practice Hanafi Fiqh and pretend to be “Sunni Sufi Hanafi Maturidi” for Taqiyya purposes when they are with Sufis but proudly identify as Wahhabis with Salafis. Salafis are Wahhabis who don’t follow any 1 of the 4 Imams of Usool Al Fiqh schools of İslamic jurisprudence but some claim to follow the Hanbali Fiqh &!Athari Aqidah but they all blindly follow Ibn Taymiya in certain creedal matters which he innovated regarding what he considered to be Shirk & bidah. Wahhabis are those who praise & follow the Aqida innovated by Muhammad ibn AbdulWahhab Najdi. Both Deobandis & Salafis are Wahhabis. Barelwis are the original largest & oldest Sunni Sufi Muslim Majority throughout the world following the traditional understanding of the Sunni Ulema with Ashari-Maturidi or Athari Muwwafidah Aqida; and practice Islam in the understanding of either 1 of the 4 Imams of Usool ul Fiqh.
All Taliban are not Deobandis. Either way the vast majority of Afgani Taliban “Deobandis” are very different from İnod-Pak Deos. İnod-Pak Deos are far closer to Wahhabis than Sunnis. Afgans Sunnis are all Sufis nearly identical to Barelwis if not totally in beliefs & practices.

I'm not a Deobandi brelvi Salafi but a Muslim (Sunni). The way how I look at the differences in sects is different that none of the sects are absolutely 100% correct. You'll find questionable things in deobandis, barelvis and Salafis etc. In addition, we shouldn't discard the scholars based on their sects rather adopt an intellectual approach and take whatever is supported by the Qur'an and Hadith. In every sect you'll find scholars that are accepted by scholars of all other sects. For example: 1. Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi (may Allah have mercy on him) of Deoband was highly intellectual and his works were regarded by all the sects including the barelvis and Salafis. 2. Peer Mahr Ali Shah (may Allah have mercy on him) of Barelvis was highly regarded among the Salafis, deobandis and even the Shi'a . When Ghulam Ahmed Qadyani had declared himself being a Prophet of Allah and challenged the Muslims for a debate then it was Peer Mahr Ali Shah whom the Shi'a, Deobandi, Salafis selected as their representative and had cleared their stance that Peer Mahr Ali Shah is their representative and his defeat or victory against the Qadyani will be considered as our own. 3. Similarly, Allama Albani (may Alah have mercy on him) of Salafis although criticised by deobandis and barelvis still his works in field of Hadith methodology and grading is highly regarded. The kitab at Tawheed of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab is unparalleled when it comes to tauhid. So, what I'm trying to say is that there are great scholars in every sect so we shouldn't be discrediting scholars based on their sects. Moreover, the disputed issue of whether our prayer is valid behind a Barelvi, Deobandi, Salafi etc doesn't have any basis since no where in the conditions for prayer the sectarian affiliation is discussed, still if a person insists to create a dispute then we'll take guidance from the Sahabah (R.A) and the Imams of Ahlus Sunnah. Sahabah (R.A) used to pray behind Marwan (L.A) and many of tabi'een had prayed behind Hajaj bin Yousaf (L.A) etc, so if one wants to discuss the validity of prayers behind other sects then he/she should first clarify his stance on the prayer of the Sahabah (R.A). Marwan (L.A) used to curse Ali (A.S) { don't get me wrong here, I'm not a Shi'a. Imams of Ahlus Sunnah themselves have used (A.S) for the Ahlul Bayt. Crazy days we're living in... need to clarify that we're not a Shi'a just bcz of using A.S for Ahlul Bayt. } on the pulpits and Sayyeda Um Salamah (S.A) asked a companion that Prophet (S.A.W) is cursed on the pulpits and at this the companion asked who does this and She replied that don't you see people cursing Ail (A.S) and the people who love him? By Allah Prophet (S.A.W) himself loved Ali (A.S). This hadith is graded as Sahih by Allama Albani. Now, if some one still has something to say then he must first discuss the validity of prayers of Shabah (R.A) behind Marwan (L.A) and then we'll come to conclusion whether our prayers are valid behind people of other sects.

Quran Chapter 23, Verse 53:
"But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing."
Sahih International
The truth is that the Aqeeda of most of the Muslims from these places is based on innovation and shirk.
I don't say anything generally about Al Azhar and Deoband but Madina is a great university.
This man changed my thinking as a ahle hadees ❤❤❤
Are you really Ahle Hadees?

What’s your aqeeda bro?
Shaikh must listen to Maulana Ilyas ghuman.
I still dont know what deoband is tbh.
Deoband is a city, and there's a well known مدرسة called Dar Ul Uloom Deoband. Graduates from there are found all over the globe
You wanna listen about deobandi.... Ask taliban(the deobandiis)

@@scientiest12 i asked for specifics, you are giving me subtly confusing comments too.
For example:
