his statements about the no bs stuff really puts laravel into perspective, a no bs framework. Mail, auth, templating, orm, cron jobs, queues, storage, etc all having drivers built it.
I would say Adonis is the closet thing a js version of Laravel especially since Adonis was heavily inspired by Laravel. It has been out for over 6 years but it doesn't get a lot of attention in comparison to dozens of other js frameworks
Hey Taylor, I really like what you're doing, but I wonder if it wouldn't be good to somehow help develop more Inertia as a product (bridge), that way I think you'll attract a lot of people from the JavaScript world to use Laravel.
For goodness sake, Taylor could probably knock out a 50% viable WordPress competitor using Laravel in one weekend. Please! Establish a baseline and let the community take it from there. Save us WordPress users the agony of having to deal with their code!
Listening to Taylor and the guys replaces 10 business books and 1000s of tweets from “gurus”. It’s crazy how much advice you just get for free here. And that’s something we normal people can actually use everyday. What im gonna do with Bill Gates advice? 😂
First Prime interviews DHH and now Syntax interviews with Taylor! It’s been an interesting few days

Laravel + the community are awesome! I got to experience this at Laracon 2023 in Nashville. 🐘
Huge laravel fan. Its pretty much all i want to code in now. If i ever made my own web framework, Laravel would be my inspiration
This is the first time i noticed those subtitles when introducing Wes and Scott 😂
fun fact : variables in PHP begin with $ because PHP will get you $$$
This was a great show...i do follow u guys on IG nd i just love it that this episode is about laravel that i love writing
knowing that a php code is always running on the server and a js code is always running on the client is peek full-stack experience
Tiny Glade is so cool!
I'd say with a bit of time, the UnJS ecosystem will be the foundation of the "Laravel" or "Rails" for JS.
I think you are right - talked to Tanstack Tanner on an upcoming episode about exactly this. Good primitives
UnJS is super underrated amongst React devs.
@@syntaxfm so is AdonisJS. You should give them some exposure!

Adonis JS
So inertia is a mini nextjs to the laravel ecosystem

Laravel inertiajs and React is hell of a stack, you get apps in a no time

90 people, and that's only the ones that were actually able to show up. Great first event count right?

I dont know if my internet is bad or if your editor just made a gagillion jump cuts, but its almost unbearable.
