    I believe most of those slabs are Hybrid crappie. Many times they are introduced into private lakes so that they don’t over populate and produce thousands of undersized fish. Nice work, MulletMan!! Love your channel!!

    That was insane that Lake has a overwhelming amount of big crappie in it for you two guys to pull that many big ones out and back to back the lake is chock-full of huge crappie. Great video

    The mayo recipe I like is to use it as the "wet" in lieu of the egg dip. I usually put some lemon juice and dill in with the mayo, stir it up, dip it in there, then in flour or crumbs (Cornflake cereal crumbs are awesome on fish or chicken) and then cook it. It works better for baking, in my opinion. Try it that way one time. I wish we had Crappie here - I keep seeing videos about them and how good they are!
    Take care, Heather🇨🇦

      the one thing i wouldn't want to learn from his is how to fillet a fish. we catch half that size up in Hoosier country and still make steaks. that turkey carver sucks, use a fillet knife and follow the bone. soo wasteful watching this.

    South Louisiana coonass here, love your channel, where I come from you only fry or bake Sac-a-lait (what we call it) White perch or Crappie. We put mayo on our Red Fish from the Gulf, but we mix a little Tony's in it with some lemon juice and garlic.

    Hey brother, I definitely recommend the mayo trick on wild salmon. Sprinkle over top some fresh cut "fine" dill, and lemon slices "rings" Bake that up. You'll be very happy!

    Use mayo to help hold the seasoning on or instead off egg and milk before frying. Just a little to make dry batter stick. We use mustard in Mississippi before dipping into dry batter the fry or bake seasoned up. I’m watching this video on my way to crappie fish!

    Mayo spread all over the fish with Panko and Parmesan over the top is insanely good

  • @FlashyDesignz
    @FlashyDesignz 5 лет назад +2

    For the Mayo I usually do:
    Fish (seasoned the way you like it) then I top it with a healthy layer of mayo mix (mayo, lemon juice, oyster sauce, onion and garlic powder) bake it until the fish is almost cooked and then set it on high broil until the mayo is nice and golden

  • @drtdbbt2588

    Season fillets, then mix equal parts Mayonnaise, Italian Bread Crumbs and Parmesan Cheese. I use the same mix when baking chicken breast.

    @MrBryanborn 5 лет назад +2

    SUPER thin layer of real mayo with some tony's sprinkled on top and squeeze a half a lime. BOOM! I like to leave the crappie on the half shell cooks better in my opinion. I do Red fish the same way!

    Wow, those crappie are huge! They say everything is bigger in Texas. Apparently that’s true for crappie!
    Good to see somebody grilling fish for a change. So many people fry the fish, and jack the calories way up, making it less healthy.
    Grill the fries, too.
